Wargrid transforms Arma Reforger’s Conflict mode into a battle for connected territory. Teams capture hexagons, defend their frontline, and disrupt enemy connections as they fight for control of the map.
Capturing a neutral or enemy hex requires a connection to territory your team owns that leads back to headquarters. Teams must advance through connected areas and protect their routes. Cutting an enemy connection can isolate captured territory and interrupt their progress toward victory.
To win, a team must control at least 80% of the capturable territory for five uninterrupted minutes while keeping its territory connected to headquarters. Losing the required conditions resets the victory countdown. Headquarters remain protected.
Neutral hexes deploy AI defenders when players enter eligible areas bordering either team’s connected territory. Multiple occupied hexes can deploy their own squads simultaneously. Players must eliminate the defenders before capturing neutral ground.
Defenders investigate gunshots inside their assigned hex, engage players, take cover, and can use flanking manoeuvres when suitable routes are available. They remain within their designated hex. When the last living player leaves or dies, the encounter resets and the remaining defenders despawn. Returning to an eligible neutral hex triggers a fresh defender squad.
