Inventory Metrics

Inventory Metrics adds compact information to the vanilla inventory, helping you understand item sizes and storage limits without changing inventory rules.
Item tooltips
Item volume and dimensions.
Total storage capacity and compartment count.
Largest available pocket dimensions.
Original vanilla weight display.
Container headers
Total remaining volume, with the largest single pocket’s remaining volume in parentheses.
Largest available pocket dimensions, with the dimensions of the pocket offering the most free volume in parentheses.
Number of pockets with remaining space. Multi-pocket items continue to show the count at 1 and 0.
Original vanilla weight and fullness displays.
Readouts stay compact: 2.4(0.9) L and 15³(5³) cm. Matching values omit the parentheses, and full pockets are excluded from available dimensions.
Player settings
Under Settings → Inventory Metrics, independently toggle:
Dimensions.
Compartment counts.
Single-pocket max values in parentheses.
All options are enabled by default and saved per player.
Storage information, not a fit guarantee
Volume and dimensions are separate game properties. Total free space cannot be combined across pockets, and the largest dimension limit may belong to a different pocket than the one with the most free volume. Other game restrictions can also prevent a transfer. This mod displays information only—it does not change capacity, item sizes or transfer rules.
Proposed ACE feature
Inventory Metrics has been proposed for inclusion in ACE Anvil. This workshop release is a standalone mod, not an official ACE release. The proposal does not guarantee inclusion.
AI disclosure
Developed with substantial AI assistance for code, UI implementation, research, documentation and automated validation. Changes have been reviewed and tested by the author, including in-game testing. AI involvement is disclosed openly; responsibility for the published mod remains with the author.
