ACMS

Summary

ACMS – Advanced Combat Medical System | Alpha

Description

ACMS expands medical gameplay in Arma Reforger with an integrated system for injuries, blood loss, airways, circulation and resuscitation. From quickly applying a tourniquet to treating a critically wounded teammate, assessment, appropriate equipment and teamwork are at the heart of casualty care.
Treatment follows the MARCH approach. An intuitive treatment wheel provides access to available procedures. Three configurable profiles accommodate everything from accessible gameplay to demanding MilSim medical care.
Features
Wounds and bleeding: Capillary, venous and arterial bleeding, treated with bandages, hemostatic gauze and tourniquets.
Examination and patient card: Findings on consciousness, breathing, pulse and injuries, alongside a treatment log.
Airway management: Head tilt, recovery position, nasopharyngeal airway, suction and intubation.
Breathing and chest injuries: Oxygen therapy, chest seals and decompression of tension pneumothorax.
Circulation and blood supply: IV/IO access, infusions, blood group compatibility, blood donation and blood bag refrigeration.
Medications: Painkillers, ketamine/esketamine, TXA, calcium, epinephrine, amiodarone and atropine, with delayed effects and possible side effects.
Monitoring and resuscitation: AED/monitor, ECG, oxygen saturation, blood pressure, chest compressions and defibrillation.
Casualty transport: Drag casualties or carry them over your shoulder.
Clothing and equipment: Wounds concealed by clothing depending on settings, plus visible tourniquets and IV cannulas.
Paramedic role: Optional qualification checks for advanced procedures, assigned by the Game Master or through a persistent server registry.
Controls
Self-treatment: Press Comma (,) by default, then select the body region and treatment. You can rebind this key under ACMS in the control settings.
Treating other players: Aim at the patient's torso and select “Start treatment”. Choose the category, body region and procedure in the treatment wheel. Suitable supplies from your inventory are automatically placed in your hand.
Complete each treatment and check its effectiveness afterward. Multiple wounds may require multiple applications. Bleeding control, a clear airway and stable circulation remain essential after administering medication.
Server Configuration
The Normal, Advanced and FullMilSim profiles control treatment success rates, medication timing and qualification checks, among other settings. Individual values can be adjusted through overrides.
Settings: $profile:ACMS/ACMS_Settings.json
Paramedic registry: $profile:ACMS/ACMS_Medics.json
Settings reference: $profile:ACMS/ACMS_Settings_Reference.txt
These files are created automatically. Settings and the paramedic registry are reloaded during gameplay at 60-second intervals. The Game Master can grant or revoke paramedic qualifications through the ACMS attributes of a player character.
Alpha Status and Feedback
This is the first alpha release. Features, controls and balancing may change with future updates. Bugs and unexpected behavior are possible in this early version.
When reporting bugs, please include the mod version, server profile, other active mods and detailed steps to reproduce the issue. Relevant logs help with troubleshooting.
ACMS is a medical gameplay simulation for Arma Reforger and is not a guide to real-world medical care.
