BUSHWAR Bedford RL

BEDFORD RL - 4x4 3-TON TRUCK

The Bedford RL was the workhorse of Rhodesian and South African forces in the Bush War. This one was built from scratch by the BUSHWAR team for Arma Reforger. It is a new model and interior, not a reskin.

RIGHT-HAND DRIVE, WITH THE CREW ANIMATED TO MATCH
- The driver gets in from the right. His own animations cover steering, gear changes, the handbrake, lights and the starter.
- Live dashboard gauges: speed, fuel, air pressure, oil temperature and amps.
- Opening cab doors. The front passenger hops straight in and out.

VARIANTS
- Bedford RL: high-sided cargo bed.
- Bedford RL GS: troop carrier with inward-facing benches for 14 and a sandbag floor against mines. Open back, no tailgate.
- GS (Covered) / GS (Covered, Closed): the same troop bed under a canvas tilt, open or closed.
- Doors Off (FN MAG): doors removed, roof hatch and a pintle-mounted FN MAG, with a sandbag floor and open back. The front passenger turns out onto the gun. Only his upper body moves with the gun, and the gun traverses 50 degrees either way.
- Ammunition / Arsenal: supply trucks for rearming at the front.
- Command: walk-in command post with a desk, chairs, lamp and two whip antennas that sway as you drive.
- Engineer / Repair: support trucks.
- Fuel: own tanker body, about 4,000 litres, with fire extinguishers.
- Rhodesian camouflage on the covered, closed, doors-off and role trucks.

DETAILS
- One get-in point at the tailgate for all troops, with Open Cargo in the same place.
- Every window pane is real glass. It takes hits, shatters and breaks out on its own.
- Burnt-out wreck when destroyed.

GAME MASTER AND CONFLICT
- Spawnable in Game Master.
- In Conflict vehicle depots, supply costs match the vanilla M923 roles. The GS is 250 and the Doors Off (FN MAG) is 500 / Corporal.
- BLUFOR / US side.

REQUIREMENTS
- Project Dingo (supplies the FN MAG mount).
