OVERVIEW
BCM Gear is a modular military equipment and loadout management modification developed by Bootneck Company Milsim & Modding for Arma Reforger.
Designed to improve equipment customisation, interaction and usability, BCM Gear provides systems for configuring, managing and personalising tactical loadouts using compatible BCM equipment.
Our objective is to deliver an intuitive, immersive and realistic equipment management experience that supports individual operator preferences, specialist roles and coordinated military operations.
GEAR & FUNCTIONALITY
BCM Gear is being developed to support:
Modular Loadouts: Customise tactical equipment configurations using compatible BCM clothing, carriers, belts and accessories.
Equipment Attachments: Support for compatible removable pouches, magazines and tactical accessories.
Saved Kits: Create, name, save and manage multiple equipment configurations for convenient reuse.
Gear Customisation: Configure compatible equipment to suit individual operators and specialist military roles.
Equipment Integration: Designed to work with compatible BCM Apparel, BCM Equipment and BCM Systems components.
Gear Controls: Dedicated BCM Gear controls and configurable keybindings for supported equipment interactions.
Multiplayer Compatibility: Development focused on reliable equipment management across dedicated servers and cooperative gameplay.
Future Expansion: Continued development of modular attachment systems, equipment interactions and additional customisation options.
Available functionality depends on the installed BCM modifications and the current development version.
BCM MOD ECOSYSTEM
BCM Gear is part of the wider BCM collection, developed to provide authentic and compatible military modifications for Arma Reforger.
BCM Systems: Tactical communications and shared equipment functionality.
BCM Apparel: Military uniforms, clothing, footwear and customisation.
BCM Equipment: Tactical equipment, protective gear and military accessories.
BCM Gear: Modular equipment customisation, loadout management and gear interactions.
Together, these modifications aim to provide a consistent, expandable foundation for realistic military simulation.
Individual modifications may have separate dependencies. Refer to their respective Workshop pages for installation requirements.
DEVELOPMENT STATUS
WORK IN PROGRESS – ACTIVE DEVELOPMENT
BCM Gear is currently under active development and is not yet feature-complete.
Some equipment interactions, attachment systems, saved kit functionality and multiplayer features may be incomplete or subject to change.
Compatibility, usability and equipment management systems will continue to be improved as development progresses.
Additional features and refinements are planned for future releases.
Bug reports and constructive feedback are welcome.
ABOUT BOOTNECK COMPANY
Bootneck Company Milsim & Modding is an Arma Reforger community founded by Tactical Bootneck, a former Royal Marines Commando turned content creator.
Our community focuses on teamwork, realism and creating an enjoyable, welcoming milsim environment.
We operate PvE semi-milsim servers, organise large-scale cooperative operations and help players of all experience levels experience tactical gaming.
We are also home to the Tactical Activities Group (TAG), our dedicated hardcore realism milsim unit focused on structured training, realistic military tactics and coordinated operations.

Arma Public License – No Derivatives (APL-ND)
BCM Gear is published under Bohemia Interactive's APL-ND license.
Free to use in Arma on public, private and community servers.
Redistribution of the unmodified mod requires appropriate attribution.
Commercial use is prohibited under the license.
Use outside the Arma series is prohibited.
Distribution of modified, repackaged or derivative versions requires separate permission from the relevant rights holders.
