JM Heli AI – your own AI helicopter pilot (TEST VERSION)

⚠ TEST VERSION – things may still change or not work perfectly. Feedback and bug reports are very welcome!

• AI pilots really fly helicopters: engine start, vertical climb to a safe altitude first, then flight to the target with terrain following
• New Game Master commands: Hover, Land, Drop off troops, Pick up troops, Return to base, Attack, Attack enemy helicopter
• Drop off troops: lands on a free, flat spot – only the passengers get out, the crew always stays aboard; the helicopter waits until every soldier is out
• Pick up troops: lands and lets nearby friendly squads board, then takes off and waits for orders
• Attack: uses every weapon – rockets from long range, guns closer, circles with door gunners
• Chooses its own distance and firing position depending on the enemy's weapons, fires salvos, changes position after salvos or when under heavy fire
• Adjusting fire: every rocket impact is measured and the aim is corrected
• Ground AI fights back: enemy rockets can hit (65 %), the helicopter evades and fires flares (Mi-8)
• Out of ammo: tries the other weapons, then reports and returns to base
• Heavily damaged (rotor or engine): the helicopter crashes
• Works with the vanilla UH-1H and Mi-8, server-side, fully configurable (config file)
