## Add Tartan Dauphin Kit FRIES as well

The Airbus Aérospatiale, AS365 Dauphin: a fast, twin-engined, ten-seat helicopter with a Fenestron tail rotor, a cockpit modelled on the real aircraft and lit for night flying, and its own engine and rotor sound.

## Highlights

- Three versions: 658 Squadron AAC (UK special forces), Royal Navy CASEVAC (casualty evacuation) and Hungarian Special Forces.
- Six working doors: hinged cockpit and front cabin doors, sliding rear cabin doors.
- CASEVAC fit: two stretchers, medic seats, patients treated in flight, a medical trunk.
- Rescue hoist, cargo net, repair and refuel points.
- In Game Master under Vehicles > Helicopters, and on sale at Conflict helipads: the 658 Squadron version on the US side, the other two on every side.
- Overrides nothing in the base game.

## Optional features

Pick one kit, the one for your fast-rope mod, and add the mods it needs:

- **Tartan Dauphin Kit FRIES** (above): needs Physics Rope, BFS F.R.I.E.S Reforged, Skyhook and SHS Fly Drive-by.

Never load both kits. With a kit you do not need the single companions (Tartan Dauphin Fastroping, Tartan Dauphin Skyhook).

## How to use them

Each switch is on the overhead console, the panel in the cockpit roof: look at it from the pilot's or copilot's seat.

Pilot and copilot: whoever starts the engines has the controls. To fly from the other seat, look at the top of its control stick and use **Take controls**.

**Sling load** (Skyhook)
- Hover more than 3 m up, with the load within 20 m of the belly hook. It must be Skyhook-ready and no more than 1,700 kg.
- Pilot or copilot: **Hook sling load** on the overhead console. When it cannot hook, its label says why.
- Hook in the hover, never on the ground: a load hooked on the ground drops off at take-off.
- **Release sling load** at the same switch drops it. The pilot can also use Skyhook's key, Home.

**Fast rope, F.R.I.E.S** (Physics Rope, BFS F.R.I.E.S Reforged)
- Pilot, in the hover: **Deploy F.R.I.E.S** on the overhead console.
- Passengers: open a cabin door on your side, then **Board F.R.I.E.S** from a cabin seat.
- On the rope: S slides down, W climbs, A and D move across. You let go at the bottom by yourself.
- To get back in: keep climbing with W past the top of the rope.
- Pilot, once the ropes are clear: **Retract F.R.I.E.S**.

**Fast rope, simple** (Fastroping)
- From a front seat: **Prepare FRIES** on the overhead console.
- Open a cabin door, then **Deploy Ropes** at a sliding door.
- Passengers: **Fastrope** at the rope, with the cabin door on that side open, in a hover above 8 m.
- When done: **Cut Ropes**, then **Retract FRIES**, on the overhead console.

**Door gunners** (SHS Fly Drive-by)
- Open the sliding door on your side.
- From a cabin seat, press U, or use **Get in** at the open doorway. You fire your own weapon.
- H straps the harness on or off. U again sits back down.
- The door cannot be closed while a gunner is in it.

## What the sling hook can lift

Up to 1,700 kg, with Skyhook: the S105 car, M151A2 jeep, S1203 van and the UAZ-469 and UAZ-452 (1,650 kg); the REAPER RHIB with Tartan Skyhook REAPER RHIB. Not the Humvees (over 2,300 kg).

## For server admins

Load the mod anywhere after the base game. Load each companion after the mods it connects. Built and tested on Arma Reforger 1.8.
