UH-1H 'Heavy Hog' Gunship(s)

Ladies & Gents, Boys & Girls.

I've banged on about the lack of UH-1H 'Huey' helicopters with forward-facing M134s for long enough, so I, with help from Kuka & Claude, have put this together. It is here.

I bring you the UH-1H 'Heavy Hog' Gunships. Yes, there's more than one.

These are all gunship variants of the UH-1H, dubbed 'Heavy Hogs' in the 'Nam era due to their outfitting as dedicated gunships. There are seven variants overall.


FEATURES:
- Forward GAU-2/A (M134) on the M21 subsystem, with a selectable 2000 / 4000 rpm rate of fire.
- Rockets fire in pairs, one from each pod. Choose 0 to 7 pairs per trigger pull (0 = safe).
- Hydra 70 rockets: HE, HEAT, Smoke and White Phosphorus, selected at the rearm station.
- Disposable Fire Extinguisher: 3 uses, each puts out all fires. Use the button by the pilot's seat or the key binding.
- Cockpit status panel showing rocket pairs, minigun rate and extinguishers remaining.
- Weapon view for the pilot, independent of the gunsight flip-up.
- All 7.62 belts are full tracer, with no impact spark.
- Rearm, refill belts and restock ammo boxes at a helipad, vehicle maintenance point or ammo truck.
- Nose service point: repair hull, glass, fuel tank, engine, drive shaft, main rotor and tail rotor, and recharge the extinguisher.
- Own controls page: Settings > Controls > Heavy Hog Variants.

I note that:
- Door gunner mounts have had their arc of fire widened.
- Door gunner mounts are much more responsive to the gunner's mouse/thumbstick input.
- Items prefixed "Forward" are operated by the pilot only.
- Spare ammo is the number of boxes the door gunners have on board at spawn.
- Twin guns share one belt between the pair.

UH-1H 'Heavy Hog' Gunship
- Rank: Sergeant.
- Cost: 1250 supplies, no XP cost.
- Forward: x2 GAU-2/A (M134), 7.62x51mm API-T, 2000/4000 rpm per gun, 9000 rounds total.
- Forward: x2 M261, 19 x 70mm Hydra rockets each (38 total).
- Door guns: twin M60D on each door, 7.62x51mm AP-T, 725 rpm per gun, 1600-round belt per mount.
- Spare ammo: 8 boxes.

UH-1H 'Heavy Hog' Gunship XL
- Rank: Lieutenant.
- Cost: 1600 supplies, 225 XP.
- Forward: x2 GAU-2/A (M134), 7.62x51mm API-T, 2000/4000 rpm per gun, 9000 rounds total.
- Forward: x2 M261, 19 x 70mm Hydra rockets each (38 total).
- Door guns: x2 M2HB, 12.7x99mm API-T, 450 rpm, 500-round belts.
- Spare ammo: 4 boxes.

UH-1H 'Heavy Hog' Gunship XXL
- Rank: Captain.
- Cost: 1800 supplies, 275 XP.
- Forward: x2 GAU-2/A (M134), 7.62x51mm API-T, 2000/4000 rpm per gun, 9000 rounds total.
- Forward: x2 M261, 19 x 70mm Hydra rockets each (38 total).
- Door guns: x2 GAU-21, 12.7x99mm API-T, 1100 rpm, 500-round belts.
- Spare ammo: 6 boxes.

UH-1H 'Heavy Hog' Gunship XXXL
- Rank: Major.
- Cost: 2200 supplies, 300 XP.
- Forward: x2 GAU-21, 12.7x99mm API-T, 1100 rpm per gun, 9000 rounds total.
- Forward: x2 M261, 19 x 70mm Hydra rockets each (38 total).
- Door guns: x2 GAU-2/A (M134), 7.62x51mm API-T, 2000/4000 rpm, 1000-round belts.
- Spare ammo: 4 boxes.

UH-1H 'Heavy Hog - Gunfighter' Gunship
- Rank: Sergeant.
- Cost: 800 supplies, no XP cost.
- Forward: x2 GAU-2/A (M134), 7.62x51mm API-T, 2000/4000 rpm per gun, 9000 rounds total.
- Rockets: none.
- Door guns: none.
- Spare ammo: none.

UH-1H 'Heavy Hog - Pals and co.' Gunship
- Rank: Sergeant.
- Cost: 925 supplies, 50 XP.
- Forward: x2 GAU-21, 12.7x99mm API-T, 1100 rpm per gun, 9000 rounds total.
- Rockets: none.
- Door guns: x2 GAU-2/A (M134), 7.62x51mm API-T, 2000/4000 rpm, 2000-round belts.
- Spare ammo: 4 boxes.

UH-1H 'Heavy Hog, Lite' Gunship
- Rank: Sergeant.
- Cost: 970 supplies, 75 XP.
- Forward: x2 GAU-2/A (M134), 7.62x51mm API-T, 2000/4000 rpm per gun, 9000 rounds total.
- Forward: x2 M260, 7 x 70mm Hydra rockets each (14 total).
- Door guns: twin M60D on each door, 7.62x51mm AP-T, 725 rpm per gun, 1600-round belt per mount.
- Spare ammo: 8 boxes.


NOTES:
- Work in progress. Please report issues in the comments.
- Multiplayer behaviour of the GAU-2/A barrel spin and firing sound has not been fully tested.
- AI has been used to assist with this mod's creation.
