Milsim Creator Framework-Core

MILSIM CREATOR FRAMEWORK - CHARACTER MODULE

EARLY VERSION - it runs and its logic has been checked on a server without
players, but it has not been played for hours. The numbers are first guesses.
Expect rough edges and please report what you find.

A character that grows. The progress belongs to the character, not to the
session: it is kept on the server and comes back when that character is worn
again.

WHAT YOU GET
- XP and a level from 1 to 50, one perk point per level.
- XP for treating another person, for distance on foot and by vehicle, and for
  time alive. Nothing for kills.
- Three attributes (strength, endurance, agility) and three skills (first aid,
driving, stealth) that grow by use.
- Perks in three ranks, bought with points: Field dressing (faster medical
actions), Pathfinder (less slowdown in brush), Second wind (a stamina refill
once per rest). One more perk is listed as coming soon.
- Four pages in the vanilla inventory: Character, Skills, Perks, and a gear
button for personal options. Small notices for XP, growth and level-up.
- Nothing about aim, recoil, sway or damage is touched. Nobody gets faster than
  vanilla's normal speed.

FOR SERVER OWNERS
- One settings file, written with defaults on first start:
$profile:MCF/character/settings.json. XP values, growth costs, perk ranks
and prices, which notices exist, and a list of perks to switch off.
Wrong values are corrected for the run and logged.
- Player files: $profile:MCF/character/players/. Written a few seconds after a
change and when a character is put away.
- Log lines start with [MCF-CH].

MEASURED, AND NOT
- Checked on a dedicated server with no players: storing and reloading a
character, XP rules, growth and perk buying, the tab pages' logic.
- NOT tested with players: the stamina effect with two clients (it is applied on
the player's own machine), distance XP for a real player or a vehicle, how the
pages look at resolutions other than 1920x1080, replication under load.
- XP balance is unplayed. The targets (a skill at 5 after about 8 hours of
focused use, at 10 after 80 to 100) are calculations, not experience. Change
  them in the settings file.

KNOWN LIMITS
- No XP for kills; vanilla's own Conflict rewards are not touched.
- Strength does not raise the carry limit (no vanilla script reads it); it lowers
stamina drain under a heavy load instead.
- Stealth has no source of growth yet.
- Hunger, thirst and energy are not in this module. Keep your metabolism mod.
- Growth tracks and perks are fixed in code; the file changes their numbers.
