GSC X TWS Earplugs
Take control of how loud you are — and how loud the world is.
FEATURES
Voice Range
- Cycle between three direct-speech levels: Whisper, Speak, and Shout
- Each level has its own hearing range (default: 3m / 10m / 60m)
- On-screen HUD shows your current voice level and its range
- Switching levels while holding push-to-talk keeps you transmitting
Earplugs
- Toggle hearing protection in 10% steps (0-100%)
- Dampens gunfire, explosions, and other loud SFX
- Also reduces your own breathing, footsteps, and climbing noise
- Uses a perceptual (decibel-based) volume curve, so every step is a clearly audible, evenly-spaced reduction — not the "barely does anything until the last click" feeling of a raw linear slider
- Earplugs do not touch other players' voices — that's what VON Volume is for
- On-screen HUD shows your current earplug percentage
VON Volume
- Separate volume control for other players' voices
- 10% steps from 100% down to 10%, then back to 100% — you can never mute everyone by accident
- Independent of your earplugs
- Shown on the HUD with its own icon
HUD & Control Hints
- Clean on-screen HUD for voice range, earplugs and VON volume
- Everything fades in and out smoothly; earplug and VON rows stay visible for a moment after returning to their default value
- Hide or show the whole HUD with one key — it comes back automatically when you use any of the controls
- Control hints in the bottom left show your keys briefly after spawning and after every key press
