GSC X TWS Earplugs
Take control of how loud you are — and how loud the world is.
FEATURES
Voice Range
- Cycle between three direct-speech levels: Whisper, Speak, and Shout
- Each level has its own configurable hearing range (default: 3m / 10m / 60m)
- On-screen HUD shows your current voice level and its range
Earplugs
- Toggle hearing protection in 20% steps (0-100%)
- Dampens gunfire, explosions, and other loud SFX
- Also reduces your own breathing, footsteps, and climbing noise
- Uses a perceptual (decibel-based) volume curve, so every step is a clearly audible, evenly-spaced reduction — not the "barely does anything until the last click" feeling of a raw linear slider
- On-screen HUD shows your current earplug percentage
Controls
- Cycle Voice Level: bindable key (default F3)
- Toggle Earplugs: bindable key (default F2)
- Both rebindable in Settings > Controls
Multiplayer-ready
- Fully client-side audio handling — no effect on server performance
- Works for host and joining players alike
