USASOC - REAPER AI Helicopter Overhaul (MH-60)

Built for the USASOC milsim unit. This mod makes REAPER AI helicopters fly like a real, confident pilot, not an AI. It adds a Fast Rope option to the Game Master and has AI passengers behave like a trained assault element on insertion.

FLIGHT
- Smooth, planned flying. Speed, heading, climb and attitude change only as fast as a real helicopter can, so there are no jolts, snaps or rocking.
- Goes straight to the waypoint and leads each turn onto the next leg. No overshooting or looping around waypoints.
- Tail swings out only in hard banked turns, then evens out. Small turns stay coordinated.
- Stays calm and direct when things are quiet. Under fire it flies lower and faster and jinks and crabs harder the heavier the fire gets, then settles again once the fire stops.

LANDINGS
- Picks the approach to fit the LZ: straight in, J-hook, steep into tight clearings, or low and fast into open ones.
- Checks for trees and buildings around the LZ and on the way in, and lines up from the clear side.
- Flares above the ground and sets down level on all wheels, with no rocking or nose-slam.
- Commits to the LZ under fire. It only waves off under overwhelming, accurate fire (or both door gunners down), and then puts the team down at a safer spot within 400 m.
- Pilots and door gunners never bail out under contact. They stick it or pull out.

FAST ROPE (FRIES)
- A new Fast Rope waypoint button in the Game Master, next to the other REAPER helicopter buttons.
- Flies the approach to a steady low hover, deploys the FRIES ropes, and ropes AI passengers down one at a time. Players rope when they choose.
- Never leaves while anyone is on a rope. Once the ropes are clear it brings them up and gets off the X immediately.

PASSENGERS
- AI in the cabin open their own side's doors once seated and put their guns up on SHS Drive-By firing positions to cover the flight.
- About 40 m out from the LZ or rope point they come back into their seats ready to get out.
- On landing they exit one man per door, move straight out past the rotor and set a wide 360 around the bird: on a knee, each man on his own sector.
- After fast rope they push off the rope spot and set a tighter 360.
- Anyone taking fire fights however he needs to, then goes back to his sector.
- The helicopter stays down until everyone is out and clear of the rotor, then lifts for its next waypoint or returns to base.

SHS DRIVE-BY FIX
- Pressing Fast Rope while on a drive-by firing position no longer teleports you up the rope and drops you. You're moved back into your seat first, then you rope down normally.

RETURN TO BASE
- With no orders left, the helicopter flies back to where it spawned and lands. It leaves immediately after a drop-off and after 5 seconds idle otherwise. The Game Master can see and change the return waypoint like any other.

Players flying the helicopter are not affected.
