Chinook Static Line
Adds static-line airborne operations to the H-47 Chinook.
Jumpers
• Stand up from your seat into a jump position inside the Chinook ("Switch to jump position" on the cabin floor), up to 16 per aircraft.
• Anyone standing in a jump position is automatically fitted with a static-line parachute; your backpack is stowed first. You get a JUMPMASTER confirmation when you're hooked up.
• AI passengers automatically move to the jump positions while the aircraft is on the ground or hovering.
Pilot
• A new Air Drop switch next to the ramp controls in the cockpit (pilot only).
• It lowers the ramp to the drop position, then releases the stick one at a time out the back with a green "GO! GO! GO!".
• Jumpers are held in the door if the aircraft is below 200 m AGL, with a TOO LOW warning until you climb, so no one leaves without a canopy.
• Seated passengers stay aboard.
Details
• The CASEVAC variant is unaffected.
• Multiplayer and dedicated-server compatible.
• Spacing, drop height, ramp position and more are adjustable on the prefab for mission makers.
Requires: H-47 Chinook, C-130J, and the GMS parachute framework (static line).
