Summary
TLL Virtual Garage adds vehicle ownership, locking, PIN security and virtual storage for vanilla and compatible modded vehicles, helping reduce persistent vehicle clutter and server load.
Description
TLL Virtual Garage – The Last Light
TLL Virtual Garage is designed to provide a DayZ-style vehicle ownership and virtual storage system for Arma Reforger while helping reduce server clutter caused by large numbers of persistent vehicles.
Players can claim vehicles and bind ownership to their persistent player identity. Claimed vehicles can be locked and protected with a 4-digit PIN, allowing trusted players to gain access without transferring ownership.
The Virtual Garage allows players to store owned vehicles rather than leaving them permanently spawned in the world. Stored vehicles and their contents can be retrieved through TLL Garage locations, with configurable storage limits per player.
Planned / Final Features:
Universal support for standard vanilla and compatible modded vehicles
Persistent vehicle ownership
Unique vehicle IDs
Lock / Unlock system
4-digit vehicle PIN security
Authorized-player access
Virtual vehicle storage
Vehicle inventory/content preservation
Configurable garage slot limits
Global garage access — store at one TLL Garage and retrieve from another
Server-side ownership and security validation
Persistent data across normal server restarts
Full wipe support to reset vehicle/garage data
Designed to reduce persistent vehicle clutter and server load
No individual TLL version of every vehicle is required. The system is being designed around Reforger's standard vehicle hierarchy so compatible vehicles can use TLL functionality without modifying their original prefabs.
Status: Work in Progress
TLL Virtual Garage is currently under development and testing. Features, UI, persistence behavior, and compatibility may change before the first public Workshop release.
