AFO Squeeze adds a small immersive interaction for close-quarters communication and general milsim use. Players can select a squeeze strength and use it on another nearby player, triggering a custom left-arm shoulder-squeeze animation while displaying feedback to both players.
The squeeze animation is built to work as an upper-body gesture so the character can retain their underlying stance and weapon posture while performing it. It has been tested with standing and crouched positions, weapons raised and lowered, and with the weapon unequipped.
Controls and features:
Alt + Mouse Wheel — Change squeeze strength between Light, Normal, and Hard.
Alt + T — Squeeze the nearest valid player.
Custom shoulder-squeeze animation.
Light / Normal / Hard squeeze strengths.
Sender receives confirmation such as “You give a normal squeeze.”
Recipient receives feedback such as “You feel a normal squeeze.”
Compact top-right HUD with a translucent background.
Server-side distance and target validation to prevent squeezing players from unrealistic distances.
Dedicated custom gesture that does not replace the vanilla Halt gesture.
AFO Squeeze is intended primarily for CQB, team communication, roleplay, and milsim environments where small non-verbal interactions can add a little extra immersion.
The animation uses modified player animation resources, so compatibility with other mods that replace the same animation graph resources may depend on mod load order. Mods that heavily alter player gestures, ready positions, canting, or the main player animation graph should be tested alongside AFO Squeeze.
