Summary
Configurable Main Base vehicle crew requirements with automatic field clearance, low-population exemptions and group leader approval requests. Designed for multiplayer Conflict servers.
Description
CENTURIA MOB Crew Lock encourages teamwork when taking vehicles from Main Base, while allowing solo operation when there are not enough active players nearby.
MAIN BASE CREW REQUIREMENT
By default, vehicles inside a 500-meter Main Base zone require at least two connected human occupants. Drivers, passengers, gunners and other occupied compartments count. AI and dead characters do not count; living unconscious occupants still count.
If the crew requirement is not met, engine startup is blocked. If a running vehicle becomes under-crewed inside the zone, its engine is stopped—unless an exemption or clearance applies.
Outside Main Base zones, there is no crew restriction. Helicopter altitude does not bypass the horizontal zone boundary.
VEHICLE CLEARANCE
A vehicle earns permanent crew-restriction clearance after spending 60 continuous seconds outside all Main Base zones, following a visit to Main Base. Returning too early resets the timer.
Cleared vehicles may return and operate with a solo driver. Clearance belongs to that specific vehicle and lasts until destruction, deletion or despawn.
LOW-POPULATION EXEMPTION
If fewer than two active players are present inside the relevant Main Base zone, a human driver may operate alone and the vehicle receives clearance. Players without observed movement or aiming activity for 60 seconds are excluded from the active-player count.
GROUP LEADER REQUESTS
Players can request vehicle clearance from their current group leader. The leader receives a private approval/decline prompt.
Each valid submitted request starts a shared 20-minute group cooldown. Changing the leader does not reset it. A declined request also applies a 10-minute personal cooldown. These cooldowns affect requests only—not normal engine operation when other requirements are satisfied.
CONFIGURATION AND COMPATIBILITY
Main Base radius, crew requirements, activity thresholds, clearance delays and request cooldowns are configurable through the server JSON file without rebuilding the mod.
Conflict Main Bases are detected automatically. No individual vehicle prefab configuration is required for vehicles using the standard supported controller and compartment systems. Vehicles with custom engine architectures may require compatibility support.
Includes English, Ukrainian and Russian player notifications. Clearance bypasses only this mod’s crew requirement; normal game restrictions remain in effect.
