Fulda Gap - Armenhof

The Warsaw Pact begins its massive attack across the Inner German Border at daybreak. In CENTAG, the U.S. 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment and a few forward-deployed battalions are some of the first NATO units to see combat. With the East German Nationale Volksarmee securing the flanks, the full might of the Soviet 8th Guards Army is unleashed in an offensive toward Frankfurt-am-Main. As NATO rushes reinforcements to a tenuous front, the Warsaw Pact aims to exploit any breakthrough in the Fulda Gap to its fullest extent.
