PSY Handheld Map - Beta

PSY Handheld Map adds a paper map that turns smoothly with your heading, independently of freelook. Navigate by manually panning and zooming. Your view is remembered between uses during the session.

Features
- Four scales: 1:25,000, 1:10,000, 1:5,000 and 1:2,500.
- Displays supported pencil marks, military symbols and custom markers from the normal map.
- Available through the US, USSR and FIA equipment catalogues.

Requirement
Requires Handheld Mini Map (HMM) by Cichy Laslo. Tested with HMM 1.1.3; other versions have not been verified.

How to use
1. Enable PSY Handheld Map and Handheld Mini Map 1.1.3.
2. Carry the PSY handheld map item.
3. Tap M for the handheld; hold M for the normal map.
4. Set pan and zoom bindings under Controls > Handheld Mini Map.
5. Add markings on the normal map, then switch to the handheld to view them.

Optional compatibility
Realistic Map System is optional.

For Anarchy Map Markers & Drawings support, also enable PSY Map AMM Compatibility. The tested combination uses HMM 1.1.3 and AMM 2.0.26:

Beta notes
- Panning and zooming can cause performance drops at any zoom level.
- Some mission objectives may be missing.
- View memory applies within the current session.
- Controller and console support are unverified.

Server owners
Merge these entries into your existing game.mods array, avoiding duplicates. Keep the HMM version pin:
