PSY Handheld Map - Beta

PSY Handheld Map extends Cichy Laslo's Handheld Mini Map with a manually panned, heading-oriented map page.

Features
- Smooth map rotation as you turn, independent of freelook.
- Four nominal A4-based scales: 1:25,000, 1:10,000, 1:5,000 and 1:2,500.
- Manual panning and remembered view while using the item during a session.
- Support for pencil marks and placed military/custom markers from the normal map.
- Marks retained when switching between map views and reopening them during a session.
- Catalogue overrides for the US, USSR and FIA map equipment entries.

Default controls
- Tap M: handheld map.
- Hold M: normal map.
- Pan and zoom: the bindings under Controls > Handheld Mini Map.

Dependencies and compatibility
- Requires Handheld Mini Map by Cichy Laslo, Workshop ID 6A58F46ECD511D83.
- Realistic Map System is optional; the combination has worked in local Workbench testing.
- Anarchy Map Markers & Drawings is not supported by this beta; its markings did not appear on the handheld in testing.

Current limitations
- Mission-specific objectives are not displayed on the handheld.
- Persistence here refers to switching/reopening map views during a session; persistence across reconnects or server restarts is not promised.
- The widest zoom shows a higher performance cost.
- Initial validation is on PC in Workbench. This first beta is intended for the normal-game and dedicated-server validation pass. Controller and console support have not been verified.
