Vanilla's commanding wheel only lets you order your entire recruited squad as one unit. This mod breaks that open.
Now you can give orders to a single squad member, a whole fireteam, or your entire squad — independently, at the same time. Send one soldier to man a turret while another flanks, while the rest of the squad holds position, all from the same wheel.
Command individual squad members
Every recruited soldier gets their own entry on the command wheel (tucked under a Units category so the wheel doesn't get cluttered when you've recruited a large squad). Each one can be given:
Movement: Move, Follow Me, Halt, Defend, Look There
Combat: Suppress, Hold Fire, Fire At Will, Return Fire, and full Artillery support (HE, Illumination, Smoke — call in 1, 3, 5, or 10 rounds)
Vehicles: Get In / Get Out, plus two new options — Get In (Gunner) and Get In (Driver), which send that one soldier straight into the turret or driver's seat of the vehicle you're looking at, no waiting on AI seat-picking logic
Support: Heal
Stance: force that soldier to go Prone, Crouch, or Stand
Squad management: pull them back to the main squad, return them to their fireteam, or assign them to Red or Blue Team
Fireteams — Red Team & Blue Team
Split your squad into two persistent, player-managed fireteams. Assign any member to Red or Blue Team from their own menu, then command that whole team as a unit — same full order set as an individual, plus Formation control and a one-click Return Team to Squad. Teamed members are marked with a [1]/[2] tag both on the wheel and on their in-world nameplate, so you always know who's assigned where at a glance.
Whole-squad tools vanilla doesn't give you
Formation — set your squad's movement formation (Wedge, Line, Column, Staggered Column), something vanilla never exposes to the player at all
Change Stance — force your entire squad prone, crouched, or standing in one click
Recruit Squad — look at any recruitable AI group and recruit the whole squad at once, instead of one soldier at a time
All Return to Squad — instantly recall every split-off member and fireteam back into the main squad
Remove All from Squad — dismiss your entire squad in one action
Full map support
Everything above — Red Team, Blue Team, Units and all their sub-commands, Formation, Change Stance, All Return to Squad, and Remove All from Squad — is also available from the map's own commanding radial, alongside all of vanilla's existing map commands. Plan and issue orders from the map exactly as you would in the field.
Your soldiers still talk back
Every order given through this mod gets the same AI voice acknowledgment vanilla commands use — your squad confirms it heard you, whether you're commanding the whole squad, a fireteam, or a single soldier.
