Overview:
GSC X TWS Vehicle Locks is a fully server-authoritative, feature-complete vehicle security and access management system built for Arma Reforger. Designed for high performance and tactical depth, this mod provides seamless vehicle ownership, key distribution, lockpicking, ignition hotwiring, and full protection for vehicle storage and supply resources.
Key Features:
Server-Authoritative Architecture Built using Enforce Engine replication and reliable RPCs to ensure strict server-side validation, zero synchronization issues, and cheat-proof vehicle interactions.
Automatic Ownership & Auto-Locking:
Vehicles spawned through vehicle spawners, helipads, or placed via the Building Manager / Game Master automatically assign ownership to the spawning player and lock immediately upon initialization.
Advanced Key Management:
- Direct Key Sharing: Hand a vehicle key to the nearest friendly player within a 3-meter radius.
- Squad Key Sharing: Instantly share vehicle access with all online members of your group or squad.
- Revoke Access: Revoke all shared keys in a single action, restoring exclusive ownership control.
- Faction Protection: Automatic faction checks prevent accidental key sharing with enemy players.
Comprehensive Inventory & Supply Protection:
- Entry Security: Locks doors, preventing unauthorized players from entering or operating the vehicle.
- Trunk & Storage Protection: Prevents unauthorized access to trunk inventory and nearby vicinity interaction.

Lockpicking:
- Door Lockpicking: Pick door locks using a continuous progress bar. Includes dynamic attempt durations, realistic success rates, and temporary lock jam cooldowns on failure.
- Independent Trunk Lockpicking: Trunks feature an independent locking mechanism and can be picked separately from vehicle doors.
Game Master Override
Game Masters retain administrative access to inspect locked vehicle storages and manage vehicles without restrictions.
How It Works
Claiming & Locking:
- Interacting with an unowned vehicle claims ownership. Vehicle owners can toggle door and trunk locks at any time through the action menu.
Sharing Access:
- Owners can use the action menu while standing near their vehicle to hand keys to individual nearby teammates or broadcast access to their entire squad.
Lockpicking & Theft:
- Unauthorized players can attempt to pick door or trunk locks using interactive progress actions. If an attempt fails, the lock jams temporarily before a new attempt can be made. Hotwiring allows players to bypass the ignition and drive off even if they cannot unlock the doors or trunk.
