FM Metabolism2

FM SafeZone

ABOUT :

FM SafeZone already stops you taking damage inside a zone, but FM Metabolism2 keeps draining your hydration and energy the whole time you are stood in one. The two mods do not know about each other. This bridges them.

While you are protected by a safe zone the metabolism tick is skipped, so:

- hydration and energy stop dropping
- no stamina drain from being empty
- no blood damage from starving or dehydration

Step back outside and it all resumes from where it left off. Nothing gets reset or topped up, it only pauses.

Players in vehicles are covered as well. Someone sitting in a vehicle has their collider turned off so they never show up in the zone trigger on their own, the vehicle is what gets protected. This checks for that too, so driving through a safe zone behaves the same as standing in one.

REQUIREMENTS :

Both of these have to be loaded or nothing happens:

- FM Metabolism2
- FM SafeZone

SERVER SIDE :

The metabolism tick runs on the server, so the server has to load this. Subscribing on your own client will not do anything on a server that is not running it.

FOR SERVER OWNERS :
Built against FM Metabolism2 1.0.63 and FM SafeZone 1.0.10.

This overrides UpdateMetabolism from FM Metabolism2. If a future FM update renames that function or changes its arguments, this will fail to compile rather than fail quietly, and a script compile error takes the whole module with it. So if your server stops starting right after an FM update, unload this one first and check back here for an update.

CREDIT :

All the actual work is in FM Metabolism2 and FM SafeZone. This just glues the two together.
