Hollows_Combat Stress —

A gameplay-focused combat-stress addon for Arma Reforger. Incoming fire and nearby danger build pressure; taking cover and resting help your character settle again.

FEATURES
- Stress from nearby gunfire, explosions, damage, suppression and witnessing squadmates go down.
- Three configurable stress tiers with breathing cues, subtle camera motion, temporary weapon sway and reduced stamina recovery.
- Gradual out-of-combat recovery and faster recovery in authored rest areas.
- Optional panic/freeze-lite settling effects, disabled by default. Movement, aiming, firing and interaction remain available.
- Server-controlled thresholds, gain/decay rates, effect switches, spawn grace and immunity/exclusion options.
- No added gore or graphic injury effects.

SETUP
Load the addon on the server and all clients alongside your scenario. Standard Reforger character controllers are extended automatically. Copy Config/LHS_CombatStress.json from the source package to the server profile root as LHS_CombatStress.json to customize it.

Scenario authors can place Prefabs/WestLake/RestArea.et or attach WLC_RestAreaComponent to an empty entity. WLC_ImmunityComponent excludes a character. Custom weapons that replace stock shot callbacks or aiming modifiers may need an adapter.

MULTIPLAYER DESIGN
The server owns stress and tier state. Existing character replication carries current effect settings; the owning player applies local audio/camera presentation and the engine's owner-side stamina adjustment. No client RPC accepts arbitrary stress gains.

VERSION 0.1.0 — INITIAL DEVELOPMENT RELEASE
Compiled with Reforger 1.8.0.13. Nineteen native-engine checks passed, including logic and resource loading. Live dedicated-server, join-in-progress and mod-stack compatibility testing is still required. Test with your scenario before production use.

Suppression is a cover-tested straight-line shot estimate, not a full ballistic/ricochet simulation. Tunnel-vision post-processing is not included in this version. AI can be witnesses/casualties; this is not an AI morale overhaul.
