BLKO AI Airforce
AI-controlled close air support for Arma Reforger.
BLKO AI Airforce gives combat signallers a decisive battlefield role. When their squad identifies an enemy threat, the signaller can radio for support and throw red smoke to initiate a CAS request.
US forces receive an A-10 Thunderbolt II, while Soviet forces receive an SU-25 Frogfoot. Aircraft spawn outside the map, approach the target area and conduct cannon and rocket attacks before departing.
Features
Combat signaller call-ins: US and Soviet rifle squads include a faction-appropriate radio operator.
Configurable probability: Default 35% chance of requesting support.
Pre-emptive strikes: Signallers can request attacks against visually identified enemy groups before a sustained firefight develops.
Three-pass attacks: Normal sorties use guns, rockets, then guns.
Enemy-contact targeting: Smoke marks the request; reported enemy positions guide the strike.
Friendly-fire checks: Configurable buffers help prevent attacks near friendly troops and civilians.
Optional Last Stand: A desperate, short cannon attack for heavily depleted squads under close enemy pressure.
Game Master controls: Adjust call-in chances, threat requirements, accuracy, cooldowns, friendly buffers and aircraft limits through V → BLKO Airforce.
AI aircraft support: Dependency aircraft are hidden from standard vehicle catalogues.
Taking out an enemy signaller can prevent his squad from calling for support. Protecting your own can change the course of an engagement.
Thank you to all the modders who have made it possible for me to create this very interesting mod.
