RHS - Content Pack 02

A small bridge mod that makes the 7th Cavalry factions usable in COE2. It contains no new content of its own: it registers the factions and deploy kits that 7Cav Factions and 7Cav Systems already ship with the Game Master faction manager that COE2 runs on, and adds one scenario.

WHAT IT DOES

- Registers eight Cav factions with the Game Master faction manager: Bandit, Misfit, Gunslinger, Pioneer, Helios, Viking, Archangel and Command. They ship non-playable; COE2 enables the one named in the mission header, and a Game Master can enable any other.
- Adds the 75 Cav deploy kits to the deploy screen for those factions.
- Ships the scenario 7Cav COE2 - Everon: COE2's Everon world with Bandit Platoon as the player faction and RHS Russian Ground Forces as the enemy.

SERVER SETUP

Load COE2, 7Cav Factions and its dependencies, RHS Status Quo, and this mod. Pick the scenario 7Cav COE2 - Everon, or run COE2's own Everon scenario and set m_sCOE_DefaultPlayerFactionKey in the server config missionHeader to any of the eight keys above. The header is only read on a panel or RCON restart, not on an in-game restart.

The server log opens with the mod version and, a few seconds later, a line reporting how many of the eight factions were registered. Eight of eight means the bridge is working.

COMPATIBILITY

Works alongside any other mod that registers factions the same way (RHS, CRX, CPO Factions): the entries merge. Works with COE2 Persistent Ops, whose boot check keeps only the header faction playable. Does not touch playability in any faction conf.

Cav_COE2_Bridge

COE2 on Everon with the 7Cav factions. Bandit Platoon deploys by default; the server header or Game Master can select any other Cav faction.

7Cav COE2 - Everon

Registers the 7th Cavalry factions with COE2 and ships a COE2 Everon scenario with Bandit Platoon as the player faction. Requires COE2 and 7Cav Factions.
