Description
FAX Frontline - Ruha
Ruha cut into 500 metre hexes. There is no flag to touch and no radius to find: you take ground by standing on it, and you win by holding the strongholds.
THE GRID
The map is a grid of 500 m hexagons. A cell changes hands when one side has more players standing in it than the other, and whoever holds a cell owns everything inside it - tents, flags and all.
THE STRONGHOLDS
They are the objectives and the FIA holds them. Clear the defence, hold the cell, keep it. The FIA is not a playable side - you fight them, you don't join them. A stronghold can only be attacked from inside your own radio coverage, so a destroyed relay costs you reach.
PREP
The first minute is a ceasefire. Nothing can be captured, and leaving the cell you started in gets you a warning and then a bullet.
BUILDING
You may build on ground your side holds or beside a friendly mobile HQ, never on the enemy's. Supplies, ranks and construction costs are vanilla Conflict throughout, and Conflict itself calls the winner off the strongholds you feed it.
CREDIT
Frontline was trippi7's idea first. This is that idea rebuilt on top of Conflict, with thanks.
