MERAK ISLAND – OPERATION IRON TIDE

Welcome to Operation Iron Tide, a large-scale cooperative PvE Warfare Scenario for Arma Reforger, developed for the KSK Europe Community.

Merak Island has fallen under hostile control.

Starting from FOB Valkyrie in the south-east, KSK forces must fight across the island, capture more than 20 strategic objectives, gather intelligence and ultimately destroy the hostile command structure.

But this is more than a simple capture-point campaign.

INTELLIGENCE & HIDDEN MISSIONS

Search enemy positions carefully.

Recovered intelligence can reveal hidden objectives, enemy installations and additional missions. Some tasks only become available after entering certain areas, finding intelligence or completing previous objectives.

Not every important location is marked on the map.

And not every piece of intelligence is what it seems...

STRATEGIC WARFARE

Your actions can directly influence the battlefield.

Destroy enemy communications to weaken certain counterattacks.
Eliminate ammunition and supply assets to reduce enemy strength.
Destroy mortar support to prevent hostile fire missions.

Optional objectives can make later battles significantly easier.

Ignore them – and you may face the consequences.

DYNAMIC ENEMY RESPONSE

The enemy will react to your actions.

Expect:

- Quick Reaction Forces
- Delayed counterattacks
- Enemy reinforcements
- Ambushes
- Alarm responses
- Patrols
- Mortar attacks

A captured position is not necessarily a safe position.

SPECIAL OPERATIONS

Alongside the main campaign, players may discover additional operations including:

- Intelligence recovery
- Enemy officer elimination
- Supply disruption
- Communication targets
- Mortar positions
- Prisoner rescue operations
- Abandoned camps
- Hidden enemy positions

Some of these objectives are optional, but their destruction may change what happens later in the campaign.

INCIRLIK AIRBASE

One of the largest objectives is Incirlik Airbase.

Expect heavy resistance around the hangars, control tower, vehicle compounds, defensive positions and air-defense sites.

Capturing the airfield opens the way toward northern Merak and the final stages of the campaign.
