Features:
Automatically spawns configured vehicles when the game starts.
Respawns destroyed vehicles after a configurable delay.
Supports separate vehicle prefabs for two factions.
Automatically detects the nearest faction main base.
Configurable maximum number of active vehicles.
Spawn-area clearance checks prevent vehicles spawning inside other vehicles or players.
Optional destroyed-wreck cleanup.
Optional abandoned-vehicle removal and replacement.
Configurable abandonment distance and timer.
Direction arrow and clearance-radius preview in World Editor.
Optional integration with the main deployment screen.
Spawn directly into the vehicle’s pilot/driver seat.
Optional gunner/turret-seat fallback when the pilot seat is occupied.
Configurable deployment name, description, and vehicle picture.
Separate deployment names and pictures for both configured factions.
Deployment locations automatically become unavailable while their vehicle is destroyed or waiting to respawn.
Server-authoritative spawning, cleanup, and vehicle tracking.
Debug logging option for mission creators.
Faction Support
A single respawner can be used at both faction bases. Configure a faction key and vehicle prefab for each side, such as:
US — A-10 Thunderbolt II
USSR — SU-33 Flanker
The displayed deployment name and picture can also be configured separately for each faction.
Editor Setup
Place SH_VehicleRespawnPoint.et in your world, rotate it to face the required vehicle direction, and configure SH_VehicleRespawnComponent.
Enable Deployment Spawn if players should be able to select the vehicle from the main spawn screen. This option is disabled by default.
Compatibility
The respawner works with vanilla and modded vehicle prefabs. Any vehicle mods used by your scenario must be added separately as dependencies.
No game-mode script modification is required.
