Description
One field tablet for all WD mods: TALON, the Tactical Assault Link and Operations Network. Each WD mod adds its pages: settings, command buttons, status lines. On its own it adds TALON, a TABLET page, an EAR PLUGS page, an ADMIN page and the TALON Tablet item.
NEW IN 2.1.1: EAR PLUGS (FOR REAL THIS TIME)
Turn the battle down, not your squad. End (controller: D-pad Right + X) cycles OFF, PLUG 1, PLUG 2. Each plug has its own level for game sound, voice chat, dialog, music and UI, set on the EAR PLUGS tab in 10% steps. Only you hear it. Rebind in Settings > Controls > WD Core.
THE TALON TABLET
A real tablet item (3D model by Bestboys614). Open TALON with it: it is raised in both hands and the menu is on its screen. Others see a standby screen. TABLET VIEW (3D or FLAT) keeps the flat tablet instead.
- In US, USSR and FIA arsenals that allow equipment, no supply cost.
- NEEDS TABLET: server option, off by default. When on, you need a tablet to open TALON. Admins and Game Masters always get in. Set it on the ADMIN page.
CONTROLS
- ' opens and closes TALON; on a controller, D-pad Right + A. Esc, Back and CLOSE close it.
- Click the ten side buttons: five pick tabs, five are up, down, back, next, close.
- Q and E (LB and RB) switch tabs. Left and Right step a setting.
- A command button runs a chat command. Risky ones ask twice.
TABLET PAGE
- NIGHT PALETTE: AUTO, ON or OFF. At night WD HUDs and TALON turn dim night-vision green.
- DIM HUD IN DARK: WD HUDs fade with the game's HUD in the dark.
- TABLET VIEW: 3D or FLAT.

This license covers the Arma Reforger mod WD Core (Workshop name WD Core), including its in-game
field tablet TALON, its scripts, configuration files, layouts, images, 3D models, documentation and any
future updates published under this license (together, the "Mod"). "Warhawk Division", "we" and
"us" mean the Warhawk Division gaming community that publishes the Mod. "You" means anyone who
downloads, installs, hosts or uses it.
1. WHAT YOU MAY DO
1. Play and host. You may download, install and load the Mod, and run it on any game server,
public or private. Arma Reforger downloads the Mod automatically when you join a server that
runs it, and that is permitted.
2. Build pages for it. You may publish your own Arma Reforger mod that lists the Mod as a
Workshop dependency and adds pages to TALON through the page system described in the Mod's
README (subclassing WD_TabletPage and adding pages in a modded WD_TabletPages class). Your
mod must not contain any of the Mod's files or code, and must say that it requires WD Core
from the Arma Reforger Workshop. Your mod remains yours. This permission gives your mod no
other rights in the Mod.
3. Listing the Mod as a dependency, or in a server's mod list, so that Arma Reforger downloads
it from the Workshop is not redistribution and is permitted.
4. Bohemia Interactive may host, distribute and display the Mod on the Arma Reforger Workshop.
Nothing in this license limits any right Bohemia Interactive has under the Arma Reforger End
User License Agreement, the Arma Reforger Tools End User License Agreement or the Arma
Reforger Workshop Terms of Use.
Everything not listed in this section is reserved by Warhawk Division.
2. WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO
Unless Warhawk Division gives you written permission first, you may not:
1. Copy, modify, adapt, translate, decompile, or extract the Mod's scripts or other files, or
create derivative works from it, except for adding pages as allowed in section 1.
2. Re-upload, mirror, repack or redistribute the Mod, in whole or in part, including inside
mod packs or other mods.
3. Use the Mod, or anything made from it, commercially, or monetize it directly or indirectly.
This includes charging for access to the Mod or its features, putting them behind paid
perks, selling it, or using it to promote a paid product or service.
4. Use the Mod, or any part of it, outside games and products made by Bohemia Interactive.
5. Use the Mod for anything other than entertainment and recreation, for example for real-world
military, professional, occupational or educational training.
6. Use the names Warhawk Division, WD Core or TALON, or the Warhawk Division crest, in a way
that suggests your mod or server is made, run or endorsed by Warhawk Division.
7. Remove or change this license or any copyright notice in the Mod.
3. THE TALON 3D MODEL

1. Bestboys614 made the TALON tablet 3D model.
2. Warhawk Division made the 2D design the model is built from, and integrated the model into WD Core.
3. The model, its textures and the items built from it are part of the Mod and are covered by
this license, in the same way as every other file of the Mod.
4. DATA THE MOD RECORDS
1. On your computer. The Mod saves your tablet settings (NIGHT PALETTE and DIM HUD IN DARK) in
the file WD_Core_Settings.txt in your Arma Reforger profile folder. The first time it runs it
reads the night settings from WD_BFT_Settings.txt in the same folder, if that file exists, to
keep your earlier choices. If you are an administrator, it reads your own shortcuts from
WD_Core_Commands.txt in the same folder. These files stay on your computer.
2. Commands. When you press a command button, the Mod runs that chat command as if you had typed
it. A command starting with / runs in your game. A command starting with # is sent to the
server as a chat message, the same as typing it, and the server and the mod that owns the
command handle it as usual, including any logging they do.
3. On a server. The server saves the file WD_Core_Server.txt in its profile folder, with one
setting, needs_tablet (NEEDS TABLET), set to 0 or 1. The server sends that value to the
players in its game. When an administrator or Game Master changes the setting, or tries to
and is refused, the server's log records the player ID of that person.
4. Arsenal entries. The Mod adds the TALON tablet to some faction arsenals in memory when the
game starts. Nothing about this is saved.
5. Nothing else. Apart from the log line in item 3, the Mod itself writes nothing to the
server's log and sends nothing to Warhawk Division or anyone else. It does not record IP
addresses, chat, voice, or anything else from your computer.
5. BOHEMIA INTERACTIVE
The Mod is published on the Arma Reforger Workshop and must be used in line with the Arma Reforger
End User License Agreement, the Arma Reforger Tools End User License Agreement and the Workshop
Terms of Use. If anything in this license conflicts with those documents, they prevail. This
license grants no rights in Bohemia Interactive's games, tools or content. Bohemia Interactive is
not a party to this license and is not responsible for the Mod.
6. OTHER MODS
Other mods, including Warhawk Division's own, can add pages to TALON. Each of those mods is
covered by its own license, and what its pages and commands do is that mod's responsibility.
This license grants no rights in them.
7. ASKING FOR PERMISSION
To ask about any use not allowed above, contact Warhawk Division staff through the Warhawk
Division Discord server (discord.gg/warhawk). Permission only counts if it is given in writing
by Warhawk Division staff.
8. ENDING THIS LICENSE
This license ends automatically, without notice, if you break any of its terms. When it ends you
must stop using the Mod and delete any copies you made.
9. NO WARRANTY
The Mod is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including
merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Warhawk Division is a
volunteer hobby community. To the fullest extent the law allows, Warhawk Division and its members
are not liable for any claim, damages or other liability arising from the Mod or its use,
including loss of game progress, characters, equipment, vehicles, data, or server performance.
10. FUTURE VERSIONS
Warhawk Division may publish future versions of the Mod under a different license, including a more
open one such as the Arma Public License Share Alike (APL-SA). Each version is covered by the
license it was published with.
11. GOVERNING LAW
This license is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, matching the Warhawk
Division website's Terms of Use.
