Summary
Full Control is a Conflict game mode rework.
THIS MOD WORKS, BUT IT IS IN EARLY TESTING PHASE AND MAY CONTAIN BUGS.
Description
Full Control is a rework of the Conflict game mode. Most of what you know from Conflict works unchanged. Below are only the differences.
## The goal
- A side wins by leaving its enemy without a single control point.
- Ordinary bases can be captured, but they do not count towards the result.
- When a side loses its last control point, the match ends immediately. A scenario author can give the losing side a window for a counterattack by setting the end-of-game timer above zero.
- The middle number on the HUD is how many control points are in play. It is not a threshold to reach, as it is in Conflict.
## Bases and radio signal
- There is no order of capture. Any base can be attacked right away, radio coverage or not.
- A MOB is not a safe zone and can be captured. It does not have to be a control point.
- Radio still provides supplies, map information and tasks, but it no longer blocks capturing or respawning.
### Losing a MOB
- A captured MOB becomes an ordinary FOB for whoever took it.
- The side that lost it loses its radio coverage source, its higher supply income and the MOB spawn.
- A new MOB can be established with the special command truck (see below).
## Respawning
- A base under attack is still a respawn point. Respawning is switched off by a successful capture, not by the fighting itself.
- Once a base is captured, its main spawn (the command tent) is switched off. Only the special Full Control command truck can bring it back.
- Radio backpack:
* can only be activated inside your own base that is not being captured,
* inside an enemy base, or a base under capture, it stays dormant,
* it wakes up on its own once the base it stands in becomes yours,
* the whole faction can respawn on it, not only the group that deployed it,
* there is no limit on how many radios one group may deploy.
## Map
- Your own bases always show their owner, even outside radio coverage. Details (services, supplies) are shown only for those within coverage.
- Other factions' bases outside your radio coverage carry a neutral yellow icon. You know something is there, but not whose it is. The icon size still gives away whether it is a MOB.
- The icon flashing during a capture is always visible on your own bases, and on other factions' bases only within coverage.
## The special command truck
This is not an ordinary command truck. That truck carries two new actions at the passenger door (on the inner side):
- Establish a MOB (CAPTAIN required) — turns the base into a new MOB and restores its spawn:
* A faction may do this once every 60 minutes; the first time in a match there is no wait,
* It works on any base you own, control point or not. The previous MOB, if there is one, becomes an ordinary base.
- Restore the base spawn (LIEUTENANT required) — brings back the main spawn of a base that was captured earlier. No time limit.
Conditions for both actions:
- the truck must belong to your faction — a captured enemy truck refuses ("Not your command truck"),
- it must stand inside your own base, no more than 30 m from its center, that is, at the command post,
- the base must not be in the middle of being captured.
## Demolishing a base
The action sits in the command tent of a base you own, on the corkboard — where you enter building mode (MAJOR required). It takes the base out of the match for good.
- Holding the action gives the order and starts a countdown. Your own faction is notified.
- Any officer of that faction can call the order off, not only the one who gave it. The remaining time is shown in the action's name.
- The countdown is stopped by *an enemy starting a capture.
- You cannot demolish your own last control point.
- A MOB can be demolished as well (as long as it is not your last control point).
- The enemy learns about a demolition only after the fact.
- All that disappears is the command tent and being a base at all: the owner, the spawn, the radio, the map icon, the flag and the possibility of being captured. Vehicles, storage, the arsenal and everything that was built there stay where they stand.
- A demolished control point drops out of the match, so the overall number of control points that count towards victory goes down.
- The order is checked again at the moment it goes off — if the base has become your last control point in the meantime, the demolition does not happen.
## Test scenario
- Map: Arland. Seven control points. Each side starts with its own MOB and one forward base.
- End of the match: immediately after the last control point is lost (timer at 0 s).
- Demolition countdown: 60 s.
- The starting rank is SERGEANT and all actions (MOB, spawn, demolition) are available from that rank.
- Special command truck cost: 3000.
## Known issues
- A map left open at the moment of a capture sometimes does not refresh completely. Closing and reopening the map helps.License
