VRT - Threads

Summary

VRT - Threads expands Tier-1 operator clothing with Crye G3, Patagonia, FROG and more, featuring a massive library of VRT camouflage variants built with SHS collaboration.

Description

VRT - Threads is VRT’s comprehensive clothing and uniform package, built to provide a massive selection of modern special operations apparel across a wide variety of environments, mission sets, and unit identities.
The goal of VRT - Threads is simple: give players significantly more freedom to build believable, cohesive Tier-1 operator loadouts without locking everyone into the same handful of camouflage patterns or uniform systems.
Working across an expanding collection of high-quality clothing assets, VRT - Threads brings together multiple modern combat-uniform platforms and dramatically expands the camouflage and color options available across them.
The mod includes clothing and uniform systems such as:
Vergys Crye G3 combat uniforms
Patagonia-style special operations uniforms
FROG combat uniform systems
Combat shirts and matching combat pants
Multiple solid-color and camouflage torso combinations
Integrated combat kneepad configurations
Additional SOF-oriented clothing platforms
Numerous additional uniform systems as the package continues to expand
Extensive Camouflage Library
One of the defining features of VRT - Threads is the sheer variety of camouflage available throughout the package.
VRT’s development team has created and adapted an extensive collection of patterns designed to support woodland, desert, transitional, arid, tropical, urban, nighttime, and specialized mission environments.
Current camouflage options throughout the wider VRT clothing ecosystem include patterns such as:
AOR 1
AOR 2
ATACS-AUX
ATACS-FG
ATACS-FGX
MARPAT-D
MARPAT-W
M81
Badlands
Burgertown
Tundra
Wolverine
Ghost — VRT Custom
Taiga — VRT Custom
Wetwork — VRT Custom
Black Magma — VRT Custom
And additional patterns and variants as development continues
Not every uniform platform is intended to receive every camouflage simply for the sake of increasing the variant count. Patterns are selected and implemented where they make sense, allowing the mod to maintain a huge amount of visual variety while still remaining mindful of unnecessary content duplication and mod size.
Built for Special Operations Loadouts
VRT - Threads is primarily designed around the equipment requirements and visual identity of modern special operations forces.
Uniform options range from traditional combat configurations to more specialized combinations of camouflage sleeves and solid-color combat-shirt bodies, allowing players to create kits appropriate for everything from maritime and woodland operations to arid environments, reconnaissance, nighttime operations, and direct-action missions.
The variety of available clothing also allows different units and individual operators to maintain their own visual identities while still remaining part of the broader VRT equipment ecosystem.
Combined with VRT - Lids, VRT - Vests & Bags, VRT - Gear Addons, VRT - Armory, and the rest of the VRT equipment suite, Threads serves as the foundation for building complete, highly customized operator kits from the uniform outward.
More uniforms, camouflage patterns, clothing configurations, and compatible systems will continue to be added as the project grows.
Credits & Thanks
SHS — An absolutely massive thank you to the SHS team for their collaboration, support, assets, and willingness to work alongside VRT in expanding this project. Their contribution has been fundamental to what VRT - Threads has become, and this collection would not exist in its current form without their involvement.
Lucalis — A particularly huge thank you to Lucalis for the time, collaboration, expertise, and continued support that went into making these clothing systems possible. His work and willingness to collaborate with the VRT Development Team have been instrumental in bringing together the assets, configurations, and expanded uniform options found throughout the mod.
Grizzy — VRT Development Team — Special recognition to Grizzy, VRT Development Team’s lead Substance texture expert, for the enormous amount of texture work behind these camouflage expansions. His attention to materials, pattern implementation, consistency, and overall visual quality has played a major role in turning a growing collection of uniforms into a cohesive VRT equipment library.
A sincere thank you to SHS, Lucalis, Grizzy, and everyone involved on both development teams for the hours of work required to turn these assets into the expansive clothing system available through VRT - Threads.
