VRT - Lids

VRT - Lids is VRT's dedicated headgear and night-vision package, expanding modern operator customization with helmets, NVG systems, communications equipment, camouflage options, helmet accessories, and additional specialty headwear.
Built around the excellent systems provided by RHS, VRT - Lids brings together the RHS Night Vision framework and RHS patch framework with VRT-developed equipment and customization options in one comprehensive package.
Helmets
The mod includes a growing selection of modern combat helmets configured for different roles, environments, and loadouts, including:
High-cut helmets 
MICH-style helmets 
Multiple camouflage and solid-color variants 
Patch-compatible helmet configurations 
Helmet configurations supporting VRT accessory systems 
Multiple equipment and NVG mounting options 
The goal is to provide enough variety to build everything from conventional military loadouts to modern Tier-1 special operations kits without requiring dozens of disconnected equipment mods.
Night Vision Systems
Using the RHS Night Vision framework, VRT - Lids introduces and integrates multiple night-vision configurations, including:
VRT GPNVG panoramic quad-NVG systems 
PVS-31-style binocular NVGs 
Additional binocular night-vision configurations 
Monocular NVG configurations 
Panoramic NVG configurations 
Helmet-mounted NVG systems with appropriate mounts and hardware 
The VRT GPNVG system is designed around the recognizable four-tube panoramic configuration used in modern special operations equipment while benefiting from RHS's underlying night-vision functionality.
VRT Mohawk System
Compatible helmets can also utilize the VRT Mohawk system, adding detailed rear and overhead helmet equipment for more complete operator setups.
Mohawk configurations can include:
Rear-centered Hel-Star IR beacon 
Rear-mounted NVG battery/power pack 
Power cable routed through the Mohawk and forward to the NVG system 
Rear chemlight retention loop 
Vertically mounted AA batteries 
Integrated routing and retention hardware 
Multiple compatible helmet configurations 
The system is intended to make the rear and top of the helmet just as customizable and visually complete as the front.
Patch Integration
VRT - Lids utilizes the RHS patch framework to support compatible patches across supported helmets and equipment.
This allows players to use patches from the growing collection of VRT patch mods, including unit, national, identification, morale, and other compatible patch options.

Peltor-style communications headsets 
Multiple headset color variants 
Beanies 
Drill Sergeant campaign hat 
Full-head frogman-style helmet scrims/shrouds

Additional helmet-mounted and headgear accessories 
The frogman-style scrims are designed as full shrouds that drape over and around the helmet/head rather than simply placing camouflage strips directly on the helmet shell.
As with the rest of the VRT equipment ecosystem, VRT - Lids is intended to continue expanding with additional helmet configurations, camouflage variants, NVG systems, accessories, and compatibility options over time.
