VRT - Gear Addons

VRT - Gear Addons expands the customization and functionality of modern tactical loadouts with a growing collection of equipment, accessories, pouches, and kit-mounted items designed to complement the wider VRT equipment ecosystem.
A special thank you to Grizzy, the VRT Development Team’s lead Substance texture expert, whose work has been instrumental in bringing the visual quality, material work, and texture consistency of these assets together across the VRT equipment suite.
The mod focuses on the smaller details that turn a basic loadout into a purpose-built kit. Players can configure their equipment with everything from mission-essential pouches to cosmetic accessories, breaching equipment, navigation systems, tools, and other items commonly found on modern special operations equipment.

Much of VRT - Gear Addons is intended to provide greater visual customization, allowing players to build equipment that looks appropriate for their role, mission, and unit rather than every operator carrying an identical setup. Where applicable, pouches and equipment are also configured to work with the magazine and equipment systems used throughout the VRT mod ecosystem.
The integrated ATAK systems provide another layer of personalization, including support for attaching compatible patches directly to the ATAK equipment. This allows unit, national, identification, and custom patch options to become part of the overall carrier configuration rather than being limited to the vest itself.
VRT - Gear Addons is also designed as an expanding package. Additional accessories and equipment are planned, including more items intended specifically for attachment to backpacks, back panels, and other equipment available through VRT - Vests & Bags.
The goal is to continue building a comprehensive accessory library that gives players more control over the small details of their equipment while maintaining compatibility across the frameworks and systems used by VRT.
