ASTARTES HUD

The heads-up display an Adeptus Astartes battle-brother sees inside his helmet.

VISOR
· Ornate power-armour cowling framing the view
· Ammunition, magazines, zeroing, bleeding and stance readouts
· Compass tape across the top of the aperture
· Live ACE Medical vitals: pulse, blood pressure, blood volume, temperature, status

AUSPEX
Look at a wounded or downed character within 10 m for a floating readout — life
state, vitals, blood, and a per-limb damage chart. A scrolling cardiac trace shows
the subject's real heart rate, requested from the server rather than guessed.

CHIRURGEON
Aim at a specific limb up close and the auspex becomes a treatment panel. Scroll a
list of everything you carry that can be applied to that limb and apply it with the
use key — no opening the inventory, no equipping first.

If you don't have what they need, it falls back to the casualty's own supplies and
tells you whose kit it is using.

INTERFACE
· Interaction prompts, weapon readout and equipment bar redrawn in the visor's style
· Grimdark backdrops on the inventory, escape, player list and group menus
· Toggle the whole HUD from the player list menu (P)

COMPATIBILITY
Overrides no game resource — no layouts, no prefabs, no configs. Everything is
injected at runtime, so it cannot conflict with other mods that touch the HUD or
menus. Built for a server running 120+ mods.

REQUIRES ACE MEDICAL CIRCULATION
This is a hard requirement, not optional. The mod will not load without it.

NOTE FOR SERVER OWNERS
The auspex reads other players' medical state and its passive sweep does not check
line of sight — a casualty behind thin cover will register. This is deliberate, but
decide whether it suits your server before installing.
