Summary
Automatically logs listed server admins in as administrators on join no #login or admin password required. Uses Arma Reforger's native game.admins list.
Description
AutoAdminLoginByCryneX
AutoAdminLoginByCryneX automatically performs the native Arma Reforger #login process for players who are already listed as administrators in the server's native game.admins configuration.
The mod does not grant administrator or Game Master roles by itself. Instead, it uses Arma Reforger's own native login system so that the engine handles the authentication and assigns the real protected EPlayerRole.ADMINISTRATOR role.
Features:
Automatic native #login after joining the server
No manual chat command required
No admin password required for players already listed in game.admins
Uses only the native game.admins list from the server config.json
No additional admin JSON or separate admin list
Does not directly assign Admin, Session Admin or Game Master roles
Uses Arma Reforger's own authentication and permission system
Server-side verification before any login request is sent
Automatic retry if the PlayerController or Chat component is not ready yet
Verifies that the real ADMINISTRATOR role became active
Non-admin players are never affected
Designed for Dedicated Servers
How It Works
After a player successfully joins the server, the server checks whether that player is listed in the native game.admins configuration.
If the player is confirmed as a listed server administrator, the server sends an Owner-RPC to that player's client.
The local chat component then automatically sends:
The chat window does not need to be opened and the player does not have to type anything manually.
Because the player is already listed in game.admins, no administrator password is required.
Arma Reforger then processes the login through its normal native authentication flow and grants the real protected:
EPlayerRole.ADMINISTRATOR
Afterwards, the server verifies that the Administrator role is active.
Native Authentication
This mod intentionally does not create administrator permissions by script.
It does not directly grant:
SESSION_ADMINISTRATOR
GAME_MASTER
ADMINISTRATOR
The mod only automates the same native #login command that a listed server administrator would normally enter manually.
This means Arma Reforger itself remains responsible for authentication and permission assignment.
This is especially important for server commands and systems that require a properly logged-in Administrator rather than only a temporary Session Administrator or Game Master role.
Security
Only players who are already confirmed by the server as members of the native game.admins list receive the automatic login request.
Players who are not listed as server administrators are not modified and never receive an automatic #login.
The mod does not trust client-provided administrator information and does not maintain its own permission list.
Configuration
Add your administrators to the normal Arma Reforger server config.json:
"admins": [
"Bohemia-Identity-ID",
"Another-Identity-ID"
]
No additional configuration file is required.
After changing the server configuration, restart the server.
Installation
The mod only needs to be added to the server configuration.
Players joining the server will automatically download the mod through Arma Reforger if required. No separate manual client installation is necessary.
Server Compatibility
Designed for Arma Reforger Dedicated Servers, including:
Nitrado
Other game server hosting providers
Windows Dedicated Servers
Linux Dedicated Servers
Locally hosted Dedicated Servers
Server Log
Successful automatic native login:
[AutoAdminLoginByCryneX] Native #login is active for listed server admin 'PlayerName' (playerId=X).
If the native login was not accepted after all retry attempts:
[AutoAdminLoginByCryneX] Native #login was not accepted for listed server admin playerId=X after Y attempts.
Important
A native Arma Reforger system message about the successful administrator login may still be displayed to the player.
The mod uses the normal Reforger admin system and does not replace or modify the native permission model.License
