THE TROUBLES
The Troubles is a server focused on the conflict of Northern Ireland, combining PvP, PvE, and occasional GM-driven operations in an infantry-focused environment. Players can fight for either side and experience a conflict built around urban fighting, raids, ambushes, defending installations, checkpoints, civilian presence, and asymmetric warfare. Most of the time, the server is a persistent public PvP environment, with scheduled operations and scripted storylines introduced through GM events. Our goal is to provide a casual to semi-serious milsim experience. Coordination and realism are encouraged, but players are not forced into hardcore milsim standards. Whether you're looking for a relaxed firefight or want to organize and operate as a proper unit, the choice is yours. The server features period-appropriate equipment, an authentic Cold War atmosphere, civilian presence, AI forces, and both real-world-inspired and fictional storylines. There is no progression system or grind — equipment is available from the start, putting the focus where it belongs: having fun.
