MES - Middle East Structures

2ND TACTICAL — 2TAC
A modern, NATO-inspired army unit and TacSim built around tactical movement and teamwork — not parade-ground formality.
What this means:
No "yes sir, no sir" culture
Focus on tactical movement and teamwork over rigid hierarchy
An organised command structure with checks and balances, so no one's on a power trip
No forced promotions — there's always a place in the infantry if that's where you want to stay
What we offer:
11X — Infantryman. The catch-all squad-level role. Flexible, adaptable, the backbone of every op.
11H — Anti-Armour Specialist. Making life miserable for enemy armour.
13F — Joint Fire Support Specialist. Bring down fire from the skies and coordinate with command using proper radio procedure.
68W — Combat Medic. Running Ace Medical to keep your squad in the fight.
Why 2TAC?
We prioritise listening to our members. Every month, our "mess meetings" give the floor to unit suggestions — no ideas lost in a forgotten suggestion channel. Feedback from our newest members shapes the unit just as much as anyone else's.
Every op ties into an ongoing storyline, so your actions have consequences. Miss an IED factory? Expect more traps next time. Fail to hold the line? Brace for a counterattack.
Our current campaign follows a WW3-style scenario: Russian forces invade Finland, and a NATO task force responds as the conflict spreads globally.
We run ops across NA and EU/UK timezones — and we're always looking for new gamemasters to help host and run them.
Above all, we run a carefully curated, player-friendly modlist. That means no RHS.

2TAC Fallujah. Operation Trial

SITREP — 2ND TACTICAL / AL HADRA AO

2TAC guerrilla operations in Al Hadra Province, Takistan, have degraded local defense forces to non-operational status. US 3rd Infantry Division exploited the resulting vacuum, launching a conventional assault and securing the province within hours.

2TAC is now tasked for redeployment to Fallujah, Takistan. Primary objective remains unchanged: locate and identify the individual responsible for fielding the Mechanised force, designated "the Creator."
