What’s New in Version 1.8
The "Patriots" Faction: A new local militia force operating along the central corridor. They actively combat Soviet occupiers while remaining friendly to US and FIA personnel.
Dynamic Sentry Flares & QRF Dispatch: Enemy sentry teams now react to visual contact by launching illumination flares to alert nearby patrols—creating tactical, cascading sector alarm networks if you don't quiet them quickly.
Streamlined Infil & Exfil: Operations now launch directly from a insertion drop-off point with single-use tactical recovery spawns to keep your momentum going, followed by designated exfil points once objectives are complete.
Recruitable AI: Squad up right at insertion with recruitable AI team members before moving on objectives.
Scavenger-Friendly Garbage Collection: Custom backend cleanup logic optimized for server performance without wiping critical gear, encouraging field scavenging.
Backend Logic & Asset Overhaul: Massive under-the-hood reorganization of layer hierarchies, spawn routines, and asset streaming for smoother performance.
Classified Elements: A few new surprises on the ground that you'll just have to discover the hard way.
Make sure to carefully read the Operation Order before stepping off.
Enjoy the update, and good luck out there!

Operation Rattler - Arland 1.8

The island is locked in a stalemate between Soviet occupiers and the local FIA militia. The FIA leadership has grown complacent, accepting the Soviet presence. Our forces are deploying a small team to eliminate specific FIA leaders and a key Soviet commander, with the intention of provoking a renewed offensive from the FIA and ultimately driving the Soviets off the island.

Operation Rattler - 1.8

Rattler 1.8 is here! Overhauled with dynamic sentry flares, QRF alerts, Patriots militia allies, and streamlined infils. Same classic mission, whole new level of escalation.
