CFC Dropped Map Access

CFC Dropped Map Access turns paper maps into equipment the whole group can actually share.

Players who are not carrying their own map can press the normal map key while standing within 3 metres of a dropped map to open the standard Reforger map. Players inside a vehicle can also use a map stored in that vehicle’s cargo inventory, without having to open the inventory first.

Multiple players can independently use the same physical map. If the map is picked up, removed from the vehicle, moved into someone’s personal inventory, or transferred elsewhere, anyone borrowing it will automatically be returned to the game. Vehicle occupants also lose access if they exit or switch vehicles.

Players who carry their own map keep the normal vanilla behaviour. The addon uses the standard fullscreen map interface and existing marker systems, with no additional interaction prompts or custom map menus.

The addon is entirely script-based. It does not replace the vanilla paper-map prefab or modify loadouts, arsenals, crates, vehicles, or scenarios. Compatible map items only need to use Reforger’s standard map gadget component.

Designed for limited-map scenarios, shared equipment, tactical briefings, and teamwork-focused servers where a single physical map can be useful to an entire group.
