Summary
An in-game info menu and report system. Your rules, onboarding and SOPs one keypress away, and bug and player reports delivered to Discord and a log file. All content is read from your server.
Description
MrFrost Server Essentials adds two menus to Arma Reforger, both filled from
content you keep on your server.
INFO MENU (F11)
Your rules, onboarding and SOPs as a browsable list of categories and entries.
Rich text with bold, colours and inline icons. Title, accent colour and icons
come from your config. The Discord button opens your invite on console as well
as on PC.
REPORTS (F10)
Bug and player reports, sent by holding a key. A player is named by picking
from a list, by who last killed or injured the reporter, or as everyone within
a radius. For the last three the client sends only which option was chosen and
the server resolves it from the kills and hits it recorded itself.
Every report goes to two places, each written independently: a Discord embed
and a log file on your server.
CONTENT ON YOUR SERVER
The text is a JSON file in your server's profile directory:
<server profile directory>/MrFrost/infomenu.json
<server profile directory>/MrFrost/report.json
Edit it, restart the server, and players see the new text when they next join.
Every server running this addon serves its own content from the same published
mod, so players subscribe once.
Where those files are absent, the content bundled with the addon is shown,
which covers single player and local testing.
FURTHER
- Thirteen languages, taken from the player's game language. Every string can
be overridden per server.
- Full controller support on Xbox and PlayStation.
- Each menu can be switched off; its menu, pause entry and key go together.
- Both keys are rebindable under Settings > Controls > MrFrost.
