1.7.11

Squad briefings have moved from the fire to the Orders Table.
Orders Table — A new faction-specific command-post table, available as a build card. Each camp can have one. It deploys instantly and can be packed away by a friendly player using Take Down Table, a four-second hold action. Taking the table down during a briefing immediately ends the orders for everyone.
Present Orders — The squad leader uses the table to open their map. Squad members within three metres automatically raise their own maps and follow the leader’s view in real time. Move away from the table and your map is stowed. Manually stow it and it stays down until you leave the area and step back in.
Draw the plan — While presenting, the leader can hold Ctrl and drag across the map to draw. Markings appear live on every squad member’s map and are cleared when the orders end.
Break away from the leader’s view — Hold and drag with the right mouse button to look around the map independently. The leader’s markings remain visible. Close and reopen the map to resume following their view.
Leader position — The map sheet on the table displays the squad leader’s position with a live LEADER tag and grid reference.
Fire briefing removed — Start Brief is no longer available at the campfire. The fire keeps its flame and ritual functions; squad orders now belong at the table.

The Camping Tutorial is rebuilt for today's loop. Fifteen stages from taking the pack to marching on, now covering the brief, the squad ammo crate, the mast and going dark.
The comms mast explains itself. Build it and your squad gets the word: radios carry to 4,000 m while the set is on.
- New action: Take down mast. A 4 second hold, own squad only. Radios drop back to standard range.
Fire discipline is real now.
- A burning camp fire draws enemy AI from 150 m, double in true darkness.
- A stoked fire is a shout: patrols investigate from up to 600 m for about a minute.
- A cold fire is silent. An abandoned camp gives nobody away.

1.7.4
Fixed a hard client crash (kicked from server, repeating on rejoin) on servers running third-party persistence mods - leftover camp ground-marks the persistence layer resurrected each restart were crashing every joining player. The server now cleans them up on boot, and no longer creates anything a persistence mod could wrongly save.

- The everyday camp fire's smoke now climbs properly - a taller, tighter, slightly darker thread instead of a low haze.

1.7.2
Smoke tuning from the field:
- The everyday camp fire's smoke thread now stands twice as tall.
- The stoke signal climbs four times higher and lingers - once the stoke ends, the column takes about a minute to drift out of the sky.

1.7.1

1.7.1
The fire learns light discipline.
- An everyday camp fire is now smaller and quieter, trailing a taller, thinner thread of smoke - easy to live beside, hard to spot at range.
- The stoke signal climbs two and a half times higher. Stoking is the loud one - that's the point.
Camp Pack no longer draws on your personal supply allowance (Conflict) - it charges the base's supplies only, like the vanilla deployable tent. No more dropping a vest to afford the camp.
Mortar and MG nest cards in the build browser now grey out under a Sergeant insignia until you hold the rank (ranked modes only) - the lock shows up front, not at placement.

1.7.0

1.7.0
The full-build kit returns - 11 cards back in the build browser.
- M252 and 2B14 mortars, M60, M2HB and PKM machine-gun nests - need SERGEANT rank on modes with rank progression (Conflict); open to every rank on modes without.
- Small camo nets, all three factions - up to 3 per camp, no rank needed.
- Camp radios, all three factions - one per camp, no rank needed.
Stoking the fire now raises a long-range signal - a tall smoke column by day, a glow by night, readable from about a kilometre out.
- The signal lasts the stoke window (about 15 seconds), then drifts out on its own. Put the fire out and it dies with the flames.
- An ordinary lit fire keeps its low signature - stoking is announcing yourself.
Fixed: branch piles, deadwood and tree debris from abandoned camps now clear on server restart along with the rest of the camp.

1.6.0

1.6.0
THE ECONOMY GROWS UP
- The camp pack now costs 15 supplies on Conflict - the one mode with a real
economy. Everywhere else it stays free, including the refund.
- The squad ammo crate pools 25% of what the squad carries, up from 15% -
roughly three spare magazines per member.
- Fixed: the pack was silently charging 10 supplies on the Test Range.
CAMPS ARE OF THE MOMENT
- Camps live only while their squad does: furniture resurrected by server
persistence mods after a restart is swept at session start, leaving only
worn ground. A camp is a night's lie-up, not a monument.
THE FIRE KEEPS TIME
- The stoke countdown now ends with a bell: a FIRE READY notice and a ping
when the bar empties. Packing the camp cancels both.
SOUND ON EVERY WORLD
- Missions that ship without the game's UI sound system left every camp chime
silent. The mod now brings its own - pings and jingles work everywhere.
THE MAP
- One camp, one marker: the duplicate icon is gone - your squad's spawn icon
is the only mark, and only your squad sees it.
WORDING
- Descriptions, hints and the README brought up to date and made public-ready.

1.5.1
THE FIRE KEEPS TIME
- The stoke countdown now ends with a bell: when the bar empties you get a
FIRE READY notice and an audible ping - stoke again when the hurt need it.
- Packing the camp mid-countdown cancels the timer and the ping with it.
SOUND ON EVERY WORLD
- Some missions ship without the game's UI sound system (Game Master worlds,
Procedural Combat and other scenario frameworks) - every camp chime was
silent there. The mod now brings its own: all pings, jingles and popup
sounds work on every world.
THE MAP
- One camp, one marker: the duplicate icon on squad camps is gone - the
squad's own spawn icon is the only mark, visible to your squad alone.

1.5.0

1.5.0
THE BUILD MENU GOES EVERYWHERE
- The full camp build browser now works on EVERY game mode - Procedural Combat, Game Master, any scenario. No building system in the mission? The mod brings its own.
- Fortify at your fire on any mission and build the camp by hand: tents, dug outs, seats, firewood, foliage - the complete card set, same as always.
- The auto-pitched field tent from 1.4.0 becomes the emergency fallback only - if the build system ever fails to stand, the camp still provides a tent, a seat ring and firewood so the full loop (ritual, brief, stoke) never dies.
- One-time note for server admins: on modes without their own building system, one harmless engine error appears in the log at match start - it is the mod's build manager standing up, and the log says so right beside it.
RAIDS
- Going dark is now free: dousing your OWN fire never locks your spawn - relight and it wakes at once. Only enemy hands arm the 60 s lockout.
CAMP SETUP
- Fixed: placing the camp near a blocked spot could leave you unable to use the pack on the ground - you can now always reach the pack to cancel setup (stand next to it).
- A staked-but-unbuilt tent now tells you what it needs: "dig it in", not "pitch another".

1.4.0
WORKS ON ANY MISSION
- Simply Camp now drops into any mission or game mode - no scenario edits needed.
- Camp packs appear free in every faction's arsenal - US ALICE, Soviet Veshmeshok, FIA M70.
- The camp build menu rides the mission's own Fortify - look for the Camp tab.
- On modes with no building at all (Game Master, Procedural Combat and other ScenarioFramework missions) a finished field tent is pitched with the camp, so the full loop still runs.
- Camp gear no longer clutters vanilla FOB build menus.
MULTIPLAYER
- Fixed: your soldier now digs visibly to other players - no more camps raised by a motionless man.
RAIDS
- Smother fire removed - putting the fire out opens the raid, and the 60 s spawn lockout does the pinning.
- Tear down camp is now a 30 s hold, up from 5.
- Enemies can no longer dig in another squad's staked tents.
CAMP SECRECY
- The "Camp" label everyone could see on the map is gone.
- Camp spawn icons show only to the owning squad. Hide well.
THE FIRE
- Stoking now sounds like it - an ignition whoosh at the flare.
- The stoke smoke column builds to x2.5 as the flare settles - the heal's price, visible for miles.
- The resting fire burns calmer - a stoked fire towers over it.
- Fixed: the stoke countdown vanished within seconds while seated.
- Fixed: the stoke countdown kept running over a packed camp.
BUILDING
- Caps rounded out - 6 tents, 6 seats, 6 dug outs, 6 of each foliage pile per camp.
- One firewood crate, within 4 m of the fire.
- Ground scars now appear where things stood once they are removed - nothing shows under standing kit.
- A staked-but-unbuilt tent still counts for nothing - the camp now tells you to dig it in, not pitch another.
- Fixed: items stacked on other items (a seat on a crate) survived Pack camp.
OTHER
- If a brief refuses to start you are now told why - the squad needs seats at your fire and you need the lead.
- Workshop and loading-screen copy reworked. Establish the ERV. Maintain the camp. Stay in the fight.

1.3.7
- The stoke roar is finally audible: flames roar up when the fire is fed
- Stoked smoke now builds over the cooldown - thin at the flash, a full
column by the end, held until the fire is ready again. The heal has a
price you can see from the next grid square
- The stoke countdown and its effects now end immediately if the camp is
packed or torn down
- New Workshop description, and the loading screens now brief you properly:
establish a fallback, maintain the camp, stay in the fight

1.3.5
The fire
- The camp fire is the standard fire at rest; stoking it doubles the flames
and makes them taller, thins the smoke, throws warm light you can see at
distance, and roars - swelling up and fading down rather than switching
- Stoking is squad business: only the owning squad can stoke, and only the
owning squad receives the healing pulse
- The stoke recovery window ends immediately if the camp is packed or torn down
- The ritual-broken message now says why: someone stood up, or the fire went
out beneath it
The camp
- "Break camp" is now "Pack camp"
- Build menu reordered to the camp's own sequence: tent, squad ammo crate,
ritual seat, then firewood and concealment
- Every camp notification now has its own chime
Briefing & tutorial
- "Start brief" only appears once ritual seats are set at the fire (at least
one, even solo)
- The camp walkthrough now teaches the briefing, and its hints no longer
vanish after using the build menu
- Scenario pages refreshed and credited

1.3.0

1.3.0 - The Lightweight Camp
Simply Camp is now an ERV: one pack, one fire, and everything you carried in.
Full new description on the Workshop page.
The camp
- Everything is free to build: all supply costs removed (the supply economy
returns in a future update)
- One built tent raises the squad spawn by itself - no manual "set spawn" step
- The lit fire wakes the spawn; put the fire out and it sleeps
- Every extra tent speeds up your squad's respawns: with one tent squadmates
queue back one at a time, with a full line of canvas they pour in
- Tents can be placed into bushes and foliage to hide them
- Fire-court options appear as they become available, and the camp tells you
what it's missing - at the fire and as you walk its ground
Raids
- Smother fire (new): hold at an enemy's lit fire and their spawn is pinned
for exactly as long as you hold - one raider roots at the fire while the
rest hunt tents. The owning squad is alerted
- Putting an enemy fire out blocks their spawning for a full minute, even if
relit - and alerts the owners
- Destroying or dismantling tents kills the spawn until canvas is rebuilt -
shoot them, frag them, or take them apart quietly
- Tear down camp only unlocks once every tent is down: the raid is a fight
through the shelter, not a button press
- Rebuilding a tent restores the spawn automatically - reinforcements follow
the canvas
The fire mends you
- The ritual buff now lasts 30 minutes: bleeding stopped, wounds dressed,
stamina refilled, then faster healing, slower bleeding and reduced stamina
drain
- Stoke fire (with a firewood crate in camp): a heal pulse every 30 seconds
that stops bleeding, dresses wounds, restores blood and brings unconscious
squadmates round at the fire - with a cooldown bar so you know when it's
ready again
Briefing
- Side-only: no more briefings at enemy campfires
- The leader's cursor shows on attendees' maps; attendees' view follows the
leader until they stand up
- Fixed: attendees no longer stuck in the map when the brief ends
Other
- The camp walkthrough now runs on the Test Range: every squad gets staged
hints through the whole loop
- Respawning players spread out around the camp instead of stacking
- Abandoned camps (squad disconnected or disbanded) fully despawn after
15 minutes
- US camp pack is now the ALICE pack
- Radio kits and MG belts removed (returning with the larger camp tier)
- Fixed: the map was completely unresponsive on load
- The solo tutorial scenario is rebuilt for the current loop

1.2.2

1.2.2 - The Camping Tutorial learns the new loop - and moves onto the Test Range.
- The tutorial now runs on the Test Range: every US squad is walked through the whole loop on its own screens - stake, dig in, pitch a tent, light the fire, set the spawn, hold the ritual, stoke the fire, break camp. Soviet and FIA squads play undisturbed - the camp loop is the same for everyone, US is the training side.
- Fixed: the tutorial could hang forever - it asked for a camp resupply and a Camp Radio, both retired from the camp kit in 1.2.0. Those lessons are gone.
- Fixed: the tutorial asked you to set the squad spawn before a tent stood or the fire burned - the spawn needs both, so that step could never complete.
- The tutorial nudges you if you place a tent card but don't dig it built - placed canvas shelters nobody.
- New lessons for the fire's medicine: the ritual at the seats (thirty minutes of fast healing and tireless legs, once per camp), then the Firewood Crate and the stoke (stops bleeding, restores blood, brings the unconscious round quicker).
- Stoking settles quicker: the fire needs half a minute between stokes, down from a full one, and the flare popup runs the cooldown down as a bar.
- The tutorial now runs on the Test Range: US squad leaders are walked through the whole loop, step by step - stake, dig in, pitch a tent, light the fire, set the spawn, hold the ritual, stoke the fire, break camp - and pass each step to their squad. One run per leader; veterans lead in silence. Soviet and FIA play undisturbed.

1.2.0 - The Lightweight Camp
The fire mends you
- The ritual buff now lasts 30 minutes: bleeding stopped, wounds dressed, stamina

- Firewood Crate is back in the build list for all factions
- Radio kits removed from the build list (returning with the larger camp tier)
- Squad ammo crates no longer come pre-stocked with MG belts
