SH Spawn Protection
SH Spawn Protection adds configurable protection and enforcement around each faction’s Main Operating Base (MOB/HQ).
Features
Friendly players are protected from damage inside their own MOB.
Weapons, grenades, melee attacks and vehicle weapons are disabled while protected.
A red circle shows the protection boundary on the normal in-game map.
Protection is safely removed when leaving, dying, disconnecting or changing character.
Boundary confirmation helps prevent weapon-lock and shooting glitches.
Server-Wide Opening Lockdown
At the beginning of a mission, an optional server-wide countdown keeps players inside their MOB.
Every player shares the same countdown.
Respawning does not restart the timer.
Late joiners receive the remaining time.
Leaving early starts a configurable return warning.
Players who fail to return before the warning expires are killed.
Once the global timer finishes, everyone may leave—including respawning players.
The timer resets only when the mission or server restarts.
Enemy-AI barrage enforcement runs during this opening lockdown and stops launching new rockets when the countdown ends.
Enemy MOB Enforcement
Players approaching an enemy HQ receive escalating warnings:
Enemy base approach warning
Final warning
No-go-zone countdown
Missile strike if the player remains inside the lethal area
Repeated strikes may be launched while an intruder continues to remain inside the enemy no-go zone.
Configuration
Settings are generated automatically at:
$profile:SH-SpawnProtection/Config/MOBSpawnProtectionSettings.json
Administrators can configure:
Enable or disable spawn protection
Friendly protection radius
Protection check interval
Enable or disable the red map circle
Enable or disable the server-wide opening lockdown
Server-wide lockdown duration
Time allowed to return after leaving early
Enemy approach, final-warning and lethal distances
Enemy grace period before a strike
Boundary and strike logging
Debug logging
The configuration supports live reloading, allowing most settings to be changed without restarting the server.
Default Lockdown Settings
Server-wide lockdown: enabled
Opening countdown: 60 seconds
Early-leaver return time: 15 seconds
Red protection circle: enabled
Notes
The red protection boundary appears only on the normal in-game map. It is hidden from faction selection, deployment setup and spawn-selection screens.
