AFO ACE Changes

AFO Medical Changes is a lightweight extension and rebalance for ACE Medical, built around improving medical gameplay for milsim and MEDEVAC operations without replacing ACE’s core systems.
The mod adjusts several ACE medical items for more practical loadouts and treatment pacing, while also adding functionality for treating critically wounded casualties inside vehicles and aircraft.
Medical Gameplay Changes
Vehicle CPR
CPR can be performed on incapacitated casualties while both the provider and patient are seated in the same vehicle.
Uses the normal ACE medical interaction and CPR system.
Bypasses the ground-only positioning and animation requirements while inside vehicles.
Displays an on-screen Performing CPR indicator to the provider.
CPR continues until manually stopped, the provider or casualty leaves the vehicle, the casualty dies, or spontaneous circulation returns.
Ctrl + J defaults to Stop Vehicle CPR and can be rebound in Controls → AFO Medical.
Cardiac Arrest Voice Restriction
Players without spontaneous circulation cannot transmit over VON.
This applies during cardiac arrest and CPR/resuscitation.
ACE’s artificial compression pulse during CPR does not count as restored circulation.
Voice capability returns once circulation is restored.
Saline
Weight: 0.5 → 0.25
Volume: 500 → 250
Replenishes 30% blood over 180 seconds instead of 90 seconds.
Self-application time: 10s → 35s
Splint
Weight: 0.6 → 0.12
Volume: 500 → 150
Limb regeneration multiplier: 2 → 4.5
Chest Seal
Volume: 250 → 75
Bandages
Self-application time: 7s → 14s
Tactical Ladder
Weight: 10.4 → 5.0
Volume: 25,000 → 1,000
Adjusted so it can reasonably be carried inside a backpack.
This mod is intended to complement ACE rather than replace its medical system. Most treatment behavior remains handled directly by ACE.
