Description
Core Functionality & Mechanics
Direction Finding (DF): This radio system allows the operator to find the direction for enemy radios. It uses peak signal strength to determine a precise compass heading pointing directly at the transmitter.
Triangulation: A single unit provides a direction, but not a distance. To map an exact grid location, two or more AN/PRD-1 teams spaced across the map must cross-reference their Lines of Bearing.
