Description
Simple keyboard flight model — no separate ignition key. The throttle starts the engine.
Controls
Left Shift — Throttle up (starts/restarts the engine and spins both props)
Left Ctrl — Throttle down (and wheel brake on the ground)
W / S — Pitch (nose down / up)
A / D — Roll (bank left / right)
Q / E — Yaw (rudder — turn left / right)
R — Cut engine (when stopped on the ground)
Startup & takeoff
Hold Left Shift to throttle up — the engine fires and both propellers spin.
Keep the throttle up and let her build speed down the runway.
Ease the nose up to lift off, then level out and climb.
In the air
A / D to bank into turns, Q / E on the rudder to coordinate the turn, W / S to set pitch.
Landing
Left Ctrl to throttle down and bleed off speed.
On final approach, ease back on pitch to flare.
Touch down and hold Left Ctrl to brake.
Shutdown & restart
Once stopped with the throttle all the way down, press R to cut the engine.
To start again, hold Left Shift and repeat the takeoff procedure.
