Aviation Toolkit: JSBSim Framework for Arma Reforger
Aviation Toolkit brings the JSBSim flight dynamics engine into the Enfusion Engine, providing a modular framework and scripting layer designed for creating realistic aircraft in Arma Reforger.
It acts as the functional bridge between JSBSim and Enfusion: the toolkit runs the underlying aerodynamic simulation, handles multiplayer synchronization, and exposes the simulation's state through custom intermediate layers so modders can build their own aircraft systems, flight controls, and behaviors in script.
What the Framework Does
JSBSim Integration: Runs JSBSim flight dynamics directly inside Enfusion for authentic 6-DoF flight physics, atmospheric modeling, and aerodynamic handling.
Custom Intermediate Scripting Layers: Bridges JSBSim and Enfusion, exposing simulation variables to a property tree so creators can easily read states and script custom logic (engine behavior, controls, cockpit instruments, switches, etc.).
Multiplayer Synchronization: Handles high-speed replication, state buffering, and interpolation to keep aircraft movement smooth and consistent between clients without visible jitter.
Open Architecture: The framework does not dictate your vehicle setup—you provide your own 3D models, cockpit gauges, procedural animations, sounds, and custom electrical or mechanical scripts on top of the exposed data.
Status: Active development / Multiplayer experimental.
