The most accurate representation of the M70 rifles from the 80's. Made from scratch with a great focus on historical accuracy including correct serial numbers and markings.
Data is taken from declassified army manuals, various books and hundreds of images and videos.
The AP M70B1 represent an earlier variant while the AP M70AB2 is from the late 80's.

FEATURES

Custom model and textures
- historically accurate rifle models and textures made in Blender and Substance Painter
- accurate magazine models and textures
- accurate ammo models
- handmade LODs

Custom 7.62x39 ammo
- m67 (Ball)
Different from typical soviet 7.62x39. It's a bit shorter and doesn't have a steel penetrator resulting in different ballistics and penetration characteristics. Has less penetration but more tumbling damage.
- m82 (API)
Different shape and internal components result in different ballistics and penetration compared to soviet counterparts.

Misc features
- accurate weapon data like weight, muzzle velocity, etc.
- custom recoil (folding variant has more vertical movement)
- custom particles (accurate muzzle flashes, casing, API hits)
- custom animations and a script for flip-up night sight
- correct zeroing animation

KNOWN ISSUES
- night sight resets to default when the rifle is unequipped (didn't figure out a fix yet)

TO-DO
- arma-ry AK47 magazines compatibility patch
- early milled M70 variants (M70B, M70AB)
- bolt hold open when using yugo magazines (I don't know if it is possible)

1. DEFINITIONS

1.1 "Protected Assets"
"Protected Assets" means the Licensor's original:
- 3D models and meshes;
- textures and texture maps; and
- modified, adapted, converted, or otherwise altered versions containing substantial portions of those originals.

1.2 "Workshop Project"
"Workshop Project" means the original Arma Reforger Workshop project through which the Protected Assets are provided.

1.3 "Derivative Addon"
"Derivative Addon" means an Arma Reforger addon that uses, modifies, or incorporates Protected Assets.

1.4 "Licensor"
"Licensor" means the creator and rights holder of the Protected Assets.

2. LICENSE GRANT
Subject to this license, the Licensor grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, adapt, and retexture the Protected Assets within Arma Reforger, provided that all requirements of this license are followed.

You may create and publicly distribute Derivative Addons using Protected Assets, provided that the original Workshop Project remains a required dependency.

This license does not transfer ownership of the Protected Assets.

3. DEPENDENCY REQUIREMENT
If a Derivative Addon uses a Protected Asset, the original Workshop Project must remain a required dependency of that addon.

The Protected Asset must be obtained by the addon through that dependency rather than being independently included or redistributed.

Modifying, retexturing, converting, optimizing, renaming, or otherwise altering a Protected Asset does not remove this requirement.

4. PERMITTED MODIFICATION
You may modify, adapt, convert, optimize, retexture, or otherwise alter Protected Assets for use in an Arma Reforger Derivative Addon.

You may combine Protected Assets with your own original models, textures, scripts, configurations, gameplay systems, and other content.

You retain ownership of your own original contributions.

However, your contributions do not give you ownership of the Protected Assets, and you may not grant others rights to Protected Assets beyond those granted by this license.

5. ATTRIBUTION
Any publicly distributed Derivative Addon using Protected Assets must clearly credit the original Workshop Project. Where reasonably possible, the attribution should include a link to the original Workshop page.

For example:
"Original models and textures from [ORIGINAL WORKSHOP PROJECT]. Used as a dependency under the Reforger Asset Dependency License (RADL)."

Attribution alone does not grant permission to independently redistribute Protected Assets.

6. PROHIBITED REDISTRIBUTION
Without prior written permission from the Licensor, you may not:
- extract Protected Assets for independent redistribution;
- copy Protected Assets into another addon without the original Workshop Project as a dependency;
- repackage Protected Assets into another asset pack;
- upload Protected Assets as a separate Workshop item;
- distribute standalone copies of Protected Assets;
- make Protected Assets available as downloadable files outside the original Workshop Project;
- sublicense Protected Assets;
- grant another person permission to independently redistribute Protected Assets; or
- circumvent the dependency requirement in any other manner.

These restrictions apply whether or not the Protected Assets have been modified.

7. COMMERCIAL USE AND MONETIZATION
Protected Assets may not be used for commercial purposes or directly or indirectly monetized.

This includes selling, licensing, paywalling, or otherwise obtaining monetary compensation from the Protected Assets or addons containing them.

This restriction is intended to comply with the applicable Arma Reforger Workshop Terms.

8. USE OUTSIDE BOHEMIA INTERACTIVE PRODUCTS
This license permits use of Protected Assets only within Bohemia Interactive products and subject to applicable Bohemia Interactive terms.

It does not grant permission to port, convert, extract, or otherwise use Protected Assets in other games or platforms.

9. THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS
This license applies only to rights owned by the Licensor.

The Licensor does not claim ownership of:
- Bohemia Interactive content;
- third-party assets;
- real-world objects or products;
- firearm designs;
- trademarks;
- trade names;
- logos; or
- other third-party intellectual property.

Where a Protected Asset depicts a real-world object or product, this license concerns only the Licensor's original digital work. Third-party content remains subject to its applicable license, trademarks and terms.

10. ADDITIONAL PERMISSION
The Licensor may grant written permission for uses not permitted by this license. Such permission must be explicit and provided in writing. Silence or failure to respond does not constitute permission.

11. TERMINATION
Your rights under this license automatically terminate if you violate its terms.

Upon termination, you must cease the unauthorized use and distribution of the Protected Assets, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

12. OWNERSHIP
The Protected Assets are licensed, not sold. The Licensor retains all rights in the Protected Assets that are not expressly granted by this license.

13. DISCLAIMER
The Protected Assets are provided "AS IS", without warranties of any kind. The Licensor shall not be liable for damages arising from the use of the Protected Assets.

14. PLATFORM TERMS
This license operates alongside the Arma Reforger Workshop Terms of Use, applicable Bohemia Interactive EULAs, and other mandatory platform rules.

If any provision of this license conflicts with a mandatory provision of the Arma Reforger Workshop Terms or another applicable Bohemia Interactive term, the mandatory platform provision controls to the extent of the conflict.
