Voice Range and Earplugs 

Voice Range and Earplugs adds configurable proximity voice levels and a local hearing-protection system to Arma Reforger.

The mod allows players to switch between Whisper, Normal Speaking and Shouting. Each voice level uses a dedicated native VoN component with its own audio attenuation profile and proximity range.

Features:
-Configurable Voice Levels
-Players can cycle between three direct-voice states:
1. Whisper
2. Normal Speaking
3. Shouting

Each state can use its own configured proximity range, for example:
Whisper: 5 metres
Normal Speaking: 20 metres
Shouting: 50 metres
The selected state is applied by switching the active native SCR_VoNComponent used by the player.
Each voice component can use a separate ACP audio configuration with an individual attenuation Outer Range.
Voice HUD
The HUD can display:
Whisper icon
Normal speaking icon
Shouting icon
Current configured voice range
Earplugs icon
Current earplug attenuation percentage
The active voice icon changes immediately when the player switches voice level.
Earplugs System
Players can cycle through configurable hearing-protection levels:
0%
20%
40%
60%
80%
100%
Each attenuation level can be enabled or disabled individually by the mission or mod creator.
Disabled levels are skipped automatically.
Example:
If only 0%, 20%, 40% and 100% are enabled, the cycle will be:
0% → 20% → 40% → 100% → 0%
At 0%, the earplugs HUD icon and percentage display are hidden.
Voice Chat Is Not Reduced
The earplugs system only reduces environmental and game sound effects.
Native VoN and player voice-chat volume are intentionally not reduced, allowing communication to remain clearly audible while other sounds are attenuated.
Keyboard and Controller Support
The mod uses configurable Input Manager actions and supports:
Keyboard (H or N Button on Keyboard)
Xbox controllers (Lb+Up or down)
PlayStation controllers (L1+Up or Down)
Default bindings can be configured by the mission or mod creator.
