Summary
Enemy bases, radio connections and seize tasks are hidden on the map until your faction captures or spots them. Line of sight within 500m reveals a base for 60 seconds.
Description
This mod introduces a Fog of War system for Arma Reforger's Conflict game mode. Enemy military bases and their associated map elements are hidden from players until captured by their faction, creating a more realistic and tense battlefield experience where the enemy's order of battle is unknown.
What is hidden?
- Enemy base markers — enemy bases do not appear on the map until captured or spotted
- Radio connection lines — the network lines connecting enemy bases are not shown
- Seize task markers — task pins on the map pointing to enemy bases are hidden
- Task list entries — seize tasks in the sidebar show as SEIZE ??? (UNKNOWN) instead of the real base name
- Task description popup — the task detail panel also shows the obscured name
- Creation notifications — the popup notification announcing a new seize objective is suppressed
What is revealed?
- All of the above become fully visible once your faction captures the base
- A base is also temporarily revealed when a friendly player has direct line of sight within 500 metres — it stays visible on the map for 120 seconds after last spotted, then disappears again if not recaptured or re-spotted
- Your own faction's bases are always visible
Game Masters retain full map visibility at all times — all enemy bases, radio lines and task markers are shown normally.
