Tired of every rifle sitting in the exact same spot on your back? The Sling Editor lets every player customize WHERE their holstered weapon is carried — chest, hip, low back, barrel up, barrel down, anywhere — with a live 3D editor, no sling items and no extra slots. It moves the vanilla weapon slots, so it works with every weapon and every loadout.

HOW TO USE
- Walk to any Arsenal box and hold F
- Select "Sling Editor" (added alongside the normal arsenal actions)
- A camera opens behind your character — your real weapon, live in the world
- Drag the colored handles to move it, switch mode to rotate it
- Exit with the red dot or ESC — done, your position is saved

CONTROLS (inside the editor)
- LEFT-DRAG on a colored handle ......... move the weapon along that axis
- Mode dot (green/orange) ............... switch MOVE / ROTATE
- LEFT-DRAG handle in rotate mode ....... rotate the weapon around that axis
- Cyan dot .............................. reset to the vanilla position
- Purple dot ............................ open the sling FIT editor (if Sling Physics is installed)
- Yellow dot ............................ park / draw your rifle without leaving the editor
- Teal dot .............................. copy this position's setup onto the other carry position
- LEFT-DRAG empty space ................. orbit the camera
- RIGHT-DRAG ............................ pan the camera
- MOUSE WHEEL ........................... zoom
- RED dot or ESC ........................ exit the editor

PRESETS
- Save up to 10 personal presets and cycle through them IN GAME (default: PERIOD key, rebindable)
- Each preset remembers which carry position it was tuned on — cycling only offers
presets that fit the position your weapon is currently in
- Presets and your last applied position are saved to your profile and restored
automatically — they survive respawn, reconnect AND server restarts

GAMEPAD / CONSOLE (inside the editor)
- D-PAD UP (tap) ........................ switch MOVE / ROTATE
- D-PAD UP (hold) ....................... reset to the vanilla position
- D-PAD LEFT / RIGHT / DOWN ............. nudge the weapon on that axis (hold to repeat)
- LT (hold) ............................. reverse the nudge direction
- RB .................................... switch between two holstered weapons
- B ..................................... exit the editor
Keyboard mirrors: arrow keys = nudge/mode/reset, CTRL = reverse, S = switch weapon.
All of these can be rebound in Settings > Controls > "Sling Editor".
On-screen hints show the controls while the editor is open.
Tip: with two weapons you can also just take one in your hands — the editor
then targets the other one.

MULTIPLAYER
- Fully replicated: every player sees your weapon exactly where you placed it
- Per-player: your position is yours alone — other players and AI are untouched
- Late joiners receive your customization automatically
- Survives respawn, reconnect and server restarts
- Works on servers with third-person view disabled (the editor uses its own camera)

NOTES / KNOWN LIMITATIONS
- Edits the two back holster slots (both visible holstered long guns)
- Clean-room implementation on vanilla classes — no vanilla files replaced except an
additive override of the arsenal box action list (vanilla actions untouched)

Pairs with the k02-1 Sling Physics mod for a fully simulated, visible sling strap.

Feedback and bug reports welcome.
