🧠 INSPIRED BY A LEGEND
The entire concept behind this system was heavily inspired by the iconic Breaking Point mod from Arma 2 many years ago.
Breaking Point was one of my all-time favourite survival experiences and completely changed the way I looked at player interaction, reputation systems, and survival gameplay. The tension between Heroes and Bandits created some of the best moments I’ve ever experienced in gaming.
With SDZ, I’ve tried my absolute hardest to recreate that same feeling and atmosphere while modernising it for Arma Reforger and the StrayaDayZ community.
This mod is my own interpretation and recreation of that style of gameplay:

The goal has always been to bring back that old-school survival feeling that many players have missed for years.

🔥 HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS
Every player starts as a Freshie with neutral XP.
From there, your actions determine your path:
🟥 Negative XP = Bandit Path
Killing survivors, committing hostile acts, and embracing chaos will push your reputation into the negative ranks.
Bandit players gain access to darker-themed classes, outlaw gear, and aggressive loadouts designed for ambushes, raids, and domination.

The deeper you fall into the negative side, the more dangerous your loadout becomes.
Bandits are automatically marked visually through custom SDZ systems to create tension and player recognition throughout the server.

Helping players, surviving honorably, fighting threats, and staying on the positive side of reputation unlocks Hero progression.
Hero players gain access to advanced tactical equipment, medical support gear, non-lethal weaponry, and exclusive SDZ-created content.

💉 TRANQ RIFLE & TRANQ PISTOL SYSTEM
One of the flagship features added to the Hero rankings is the custom SDZ non-lethal weapon system.

Long-range tranquilizer rifle designed for tactical captures and non-lethal engagements.
🔹 Tranq Pistol
Compact close-range tranquilizer sidearm for bounty hunting, hostage situations, and tactical suppression.

💤 HOW TRANQ WEAPONS WORK
When hit by tranquilizer ammunition:
Players are knocked unconscious 
They remain unconscious for a set duration 
Players automatically wake back up after the timer expires 
Minimal physical damage is applied 
Designed for roleplay, bounty systems, arrests, tactical raids, and unique PvP interactions 
This creates a completely new gameplay experience not commonly seen within the Reforger community.
